I am in the process of installing my Lightweight Rear Suspension Kit.
I had it since beginning of last season, but I never installed it because I was less than impressed with the attachment between the front swingarm and the tunnel. According to the instructions in the kit, you are supposed...
I would not put studs in the MTX at all because there are no stud protectors on the front heat exchanger. Put studs in, brake hard and you will cut up this heat exchanger in no time...
Like HYFLYR says - pipe it and run it...! If there is any difference in exhaust flow and exhaust back pressure, it is negligible and it will for sure not affect your break-in. Just swapping out the OEM silencer does not require any changes to the fuel map, which also means you will not gain very...
The chaincase design of FX Nytro is a completely different story compared to Apex and the older models. Some part numbers for sprockets and chains are for sure interchangeable, but shafts, bearings, bearing holders, covers and many other parts are different.
To my knowledge, not a single FX Nytro did blow an engine because of insufficient OEM oil filter capacity. However, there are couple of them that ended up in serious trouble because of interference problems caused by non-OEM filters...
Also, there is not really any need to use bulky oil...
My old man once had a 2005 RS Vector with the silver paint job. The front shocks had red springs and they looked very much like the ones in your picture.
With all the boost kits currently available, big bore kits and stroker kits is a waste of money (unless you are building a race engine for a class that does not allow boost). Similar cost to getting boost and no more than 10% horsepower increase. Like getting boost and charging 0.1 bar...
I know what you are talking about. With the exception of OFT and a very few other high quality snowmobile specific companies, I feel exactly the same way. I am into streetbikes and motorcycle race bikes as well and I would put it this way - if some of the lower quality snowmobile specific...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ester
Esters are chemical compounds consisting of a carbonyl adjacent to an ether linkage. They are derived by reacting an oxoacid with a hydroxyl compound such as an alcohol or phenol.[1] Esters are usually derived from an inorganic acid or organic acid in which...
The velcro that comes with any Dynojet product is a joke. Get yourself some proper 3M Dual Lock instead. Certified for industrial use in high-vibration environments, can be opened and reclosed over and over again and the adhesive backing is much stronger than the joke from Dynojet.
