gsxr: what setup did you go with? Stage 1/2/3. Running the cold air kit/bov or anything like that? I've been steadily working away on my mpi nytro at the S.Portage/Dwight end of the lake for the past month getting it ready for the season.

can you fab up some brackets and mount the meth tank above the charge tube or do you run into height restrictions?

hahah ya, that will likely be your only hope! The problem you'll contend with is there were some 08 Nytro's around the net going for $5000-$5500 if you scrounged around long enough

I've been keeping my eye out for a phazer. The ones that are moving are priced in the $3000-$3500 range it seems with similar mileage or less than yours.

I'm running @ sea level, stage II, stock motor, ARP head studs, water meth, 23/33 Pulley, regular intake (I have the new cold air intake waiting to go on), I was showing boost levels of 17.2psi at WOT(not spikes) last year. Think I'll likely dial it back to 15psi and leave the motor alone...
