None ethanol 90 grade is it good enough for boosted winders

I agree. I added a supercharger to my 2014 Camaro SS and its hard to find good fuel. Even putting it my pickup it has pretty bad ping which by the way Cheverolet says is OK and normal.... (Yeah right). I run 89 a lot and you can hear the ping when you fill up sometimes and not others. Sitting...

None ethanol 90 grade is it good enough for boosted winders

Hey Clutchmaster when you say low boost you mean like the 240 270 tunes right? I dont know how much HP a 25 PSI tune is but I bet its alot

    Steve verses the 8jP

Does anyone have a good video of how to eliminate the float? I have the BOP deflection adjustment tool, but in looking at your pics I think using the big washer on the outside allows for float. I also heard someone mention cutting the plug in the middle of the secondary down. I just want my...

Hurricane alignment tool and alot of play

Thanks Dan and everyone. I have a snowmobile lift and the sled was up in the air. I put the secondary with the tool on and turn the track to get it on the primary. I can try it the other way with the go no go gauge, but I was trying to copy Daves video. What I was trying to show was that even...

    Transfer blocks

I saw a couple of posts on this talking about tightening the limiter straps. I thought shortening them put weight on the front skis and loosening them allowed for more transfer. Is that wrong?

Seat Time-Belt feedback after alignment with Hurricane Tool

Haha this cracked me up.... I am from Maine too, let me know how the riding was. I think I am headed up to Jackman on Sunday.

Hurricane alignment tool and alot of play

OK even more questions. So I have a belt deflection adjuster from BOP. That isnt the issue. I am noticing that my secondary when I let off the throttle does not return to completely open. The belt stays down about 2mm or so and if you just bump the throttle it then opens up completely and allows...

Hurricane alignment tool and alot of play

I will get a new scrubby pad. I used to use the ones you use to scruff up a car for paint. Is the green one more fine or more coarse? I wont leave the belt on again in the summer. I didnt even think of that.I replace it with new at the start of every year, but leaving it on there can cause...

Hurricane alignment tool and alot of play

Next stupid question, sorry I am full of them. My secondary on both halves have weird Mark's that wont clean up normal. Wondering if anyone has seen these before. Dealer cleaned clutches as part of my belt blowing check but this is something I didnt notice on my Apex

Hurricane alignment tool and alot of play

Sorry guys I didnt check the gauge right. One side it lays flat the other side it has wiggle. I should have paid closer attention to Dave's video. When i flip the gauge over it's much closer. I will have to straighten the gauge and then check again.

Hurricane alignment tool and alot of play

So I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. Even without any shims left I have 1/4 inch of play. I put the tool between the two halves and tightened the helix back up like in Dave's video. I am going to try and attach a video so you can see. I checked and the tool is straight. I cant...

    2019 SRX

Damn now I wonder about the dealer since we all went in for 500 mile check ups and dealer said the slides had worn down. Maybe we just got soft ones in 2017. As far as belts some have issues some dont, but if you do blow a belt and someday chances are you will, like someone else mentioned it...

    2019 SRX

Weird unless you are off trail riders or have only ridden in perfect snow conditions. I try to avoid low snow, but icy and needing ice scratchers is common here

    2019 SRX

Damn you must have the best one. All three of the Winders in our group had to have them at the 500 mile service. We all replaced with the Duppont

    2019 SRX

I think the SRX has the 4th wheel kit and the new clutch parts (Springs and helix are different) dont know how well they work yet. 1. Belly pan protector for blowing belts 2. New slides the Dupont ones are good, stock wears out in 500 miles 3. New windshield the stock one looks good but is...
