    Another overheating nytro

Mo Flo vent kit has worked well for me. I'm in MN and run the Nytro when the temps are in the 40s (Fahrenheit) on March rides. I have never had the temp light come on.

    Phazer XTX ski change

Thanks for the input. I'll keep it in mind as I search. Any opinions on the C&A Pros I mentioned since they are readily available and local? Any suggestions on where to look (internet) for used equipment. Thanks!

    New to me Nytro question.....

Sorry I wasn't clear......the sled is already set up with the wheels inside the rails. It was a UP sled, so I believe it was set up to go off trail quite a bit. Is there a concern for damaging the track, rails, etc. running this setup on trails in MN? I will leave the trail when the...

    Phazer XTX ski change

Late Feb, 2019, I purchased a 2015 Phazer XTX. I was able to get in a few rides in and loved the machine overall. One gripe and it was a big gripe, is the Tuner skis it came with. I rode in March, so the trails still had a very good base and were packed tight (not icy though). I didn't like the...

    New to me Nytro question.....

I am looking for opinions on whether or not I need to change my "new to me" sled's set up. I purchased an '09 RTX that was stretched to 144. It had the majority of the desired upgrades I've researched on TY already installed. One upgrade I am not familiar with is the inside the the rail wheel...

    How will my Nitro Compare?

You should check out some information Scott Bergstrom has written about Nytros. Search Bergstrom Skegs and you'll find the site. I actually read the info while researching skis today. I clicked on the Ski Savers link. At the bottom of the Ski Saver page you'll see "Other Useful Information"...

Jumping into the 4-stroke world...looking at Phazers

I’m taking a look at it next week if my schedule holds. What’s a reasonable price for a 2015 with that mileage?

Jumping into the 4-stroke world...looking at Phazers

I keep forgetting that. Same for Nytro XTX correct? More and more Phazer and Nytro options are popping up for sale. I'm going to start visiting them to look them over. Anything in particular I should look for as red flags? There is a 2015 Phazer with some upgrades like scratchers, low snow...

Jumping into the 4-stroke world...looking at Phazers

Thanks for the input. I've got lots to think about with this next purchase as I was planning getting a Phazer and a Nytro in the XTX package. Does the 144 on the Phazer XTX move pretty good through the turns or do you lose a lot of the ability to break the track loose with throttle to position...

Jumping into the 4-stroke world...looking at Phazers

Good info! Thanks for taking the time to respond. I ride a little south of you around Big Sandy Lake, near McGregor. Lots of miles to cover up that way!! After your input I think I'll focus on finding XTXs . Is the main difference between and MTX and XTX ski stance/width? Thanks again!!

Jumping into the 4-stroke world...looking at Phazers

After looking after five 2-stroke triples for quite awhile, I've decided to switch things up and look at a move to 4-strokes. I'm looking to outfit my family and have decided to look at Phazers and Nytros. I have 2 kids who are 11 and 13 yrs old and have 3-4 years experience on a couple '01 700...

Joining the 4-stroke world, looking at Nytros

Hello all....I've been tending to a 5 sled fleet of 99-01, 2-stroke triples for awhile now and feel it's time to add some technology, ride capability, and comfort to my life. I'm in MN and if I'm honest I ride 80+% trails. I like the idea of off-trail capabilities but it isn't really an option...
