I will check them out. I wonder if they have a single outlet option. My air filter is out one of the exhaust tailpipes. I wonder if anyone has ever tried to fabricate their own.
Finally got the RX1 tuned up enough to go for a 50 mi ride today and realized very quickly it's pretty loud for trail riding. After searching the forum I'm finding some old posts about a bender muffler kit. Does anyone know where I would find one or if I have any other options to quiet this...
The red light was from a hobb switch that detected oil pressure from the pump, lit up when there wasn't enough pressure or the pump quit working. - Thanks
You are getting oil into the charge side / compressor side and into the intercooler and carbs. Are you getting oil coming out the exhaust...
All of the comments on this thread are geared to the later model of the Bender turbo that uses engine oil. I have the older version with the oil tank and electric pump on the back of the sled behind the seat. I'm having issues with oil making it through the intercooler to my carburetors. Is...
No go on replacing all of the jets. I did use some carb cleaner on them while I had them off and got some in the slide diaphragms and watched them swell up. I swapped all of those with my spares and still no luck. Any other ideas?
Thanks for the information I actually have an extra set of carbs that I can pull the jets from and try them out. I'll give it a shot this weekend and follow up.
Just replying on a really old thread hoping somebody sees this. I have synced my carburetors and followed all the steps provided on the thread that's been passed around. My carburetor closest to my clutch is pulling double the vacuum of my other three and I can't get it adjusted with the rack...
I got it to run and actually wrote it a little bit this year. I replaced every rubber hose on the machine. Focus on the lines that connect to the carb especially. New clamps and all. I also replaced the t's on the carburetor with the billet aluminum ones that I got from Ted Jannety. After...
The latest update: I dropped the track and checked the boost tube, exhaust and also checked the exhaust manifold for leaks. Nothing visually found so I also pressurized the exhaust and boost tube and didn't find any obvious leaks. After going through the carbs multiple times I bought 2 billet...
I looked at all the slides when it was running and verified they all were opening at the same time. Everything looked good. I then put some air pressure on the carb vent line and the first two carb slides opened but the second two did not move. I was convinced it was because of a loss of...
I checked them yesterday and I'm getting 4 lb s. I pulled the carbs and cleaned them once more and got it to idle without climbing but still will not climb over 4,000 RPM. It sounds like it hits a rev limiter right at 35 to 4,000 RPM.
Did you ever figure this out? I am having the exact same problem. I can't get it to climb over 4 k at all. It also idles fine for 10 seconds then climbs to 2k like the choke is on.
All right the latest update: I got my carbs back from the dealer and they went through them cleaned them and recorded all the jet sizes. Everything was set as stock except the air jet was 140 instead of 120. I installed them tonight and put everything back together. It started great and idled...
Newbie here and I have been searching this forum for any information I can gather on the Bender turbo kit. I just purchased a 2003 Rx1 with a Bender kit installed and I am having issues with the sled backfiring and not wanting to climb over 3k. I currently have the carbs off and are cleaning...
