Big warmup of 2023 here already???

Problems of a different kind. We have 100 inches of settled snow on the ground and no above freezing temps in the forcast through the 13th of March. Also no sun!! Very hard to come by this year and very much needed for high speed riding in treeless places. We should be able to ride well into May.

    Uphill Clutching

It has not snowed a healing amount of snow in Wyoming for 6 weeks now. So riding is down to just hill climbs. Which is still fun but its all that is left. Went out on my SRX with ice screws of a stock track and my brother on his 146 inch track with 2 inch paddles. Did our first side by side...

    Spring Riding In Wyoming

I work as a ski instructor at Jackson Hole. Snowmobiling is what I do when the sun comes out. You only want to ride these open areas in good light. We can go weeks without sun. But the result is 500 inches of snow in a good year.

    Spring Riding In Wyoming

The day before this I had a great road racing day on the groomed trails of Togwetee Pass. They will stop grooming now but just had another windy snow today so the open go everywhere riding should continue!

    Spring Riding In Wyoming

A great day in the Wyoming Range. Perfect spring conditions. Firm base with wind blown new snow. The SRX goes everywhere and the hill climbing is a real thrill! My brother Polaris would stop pulling uphill at about 70mph and the SRX is just getting going at that speed!

    50 To 90mph Times

Had colder temps yesterday and a 2.9 time. New snow new grooming and the first full tilt ride of the season!

    50 To 90mph Times

The extra traction is not going to happen. I have ice screws on every nob but that is as far as I am willing to go. I like it to get losey goosey on powder trails. 5 to 15 on top of a fresh groom is my favorite. If you ask me what kind of riding I do I would call it road racing. So I like to...

Ok so my time is slow. What I am trying to figure out now is how much is my elevation and how much is traction related?

I timed my 2020 SRX today from 50 to 90 via Race Timer app on my phone. I would like to hear of any other times out there with the sled set up, snow type , elevation, temperature, track mods. Hurricane cold air intake,Hurricane header, three inch muffler,Hurricane closed loop injection, on 270...

    SRX In Powder

I think I have the only SRX in wyoming maybe. My brother and I are the only ones that have trail sleds that I have seen. The locals use the trails no more that it takes to get them to powder. I have a lot to track time on motorcycles and a SRX on the trails out here feels just the same. Spring...
