Pimp,
Once you get a taste for the big stuff it's hard to do anything else.
I saw those seats this weekend on a few of the sleds in Revy. To be honest I'm not in the market for one so didn't pay much never mind. I thought they said Mountain Max or something like that. I wouldn't be surprised...
I haven't seen a fouled plug yet. It's just not the same as an oil injected machine. I run the mountains a lot and get rich real quick when I go up to 8000 feet when I'm jetted for 2500 feet.
The sled runs good anyway. What you describe is just not critical on this engine.
I got some from the doo dealer in Golden. They swear by them but I haven't had a chance to try them. They look like they'll work, only one needed and they weigh nothing.
Any feedback?
I've checked my tps when rejetting, but all I did was do a sweep with the ohmeter to check the pot. I never really understood what exactly it does. I thought it was just some computer sensor to compare throttle position with rpm or something and tied in with the tors?
Anyway, I didn't give it...
Me thinks you oops cause I don't have a hair dryer...yet. I'm just going to watch anyway, I'm NOT crazy.
Hey, if he wants my 03, I put it more back to stock, $5250 including the K&N's. Just took pics of it too.
I found it somewhat difficult to seat those carbs in the boots properly when I rejetted. A bud said to spray brakeclean on them to lube them a bit so they slide on better. That seemed to work ok. It takes once or twice to get the airbox on properly too, but if I can get it, I'm sure you can.
