Just FYI... I had heard they were back-ordered but I ordered and received one from Partzilla.com.
Also I had a nightmare last night that StevewithOCD got rid of his sled and abandoned us... then I woke up.
Hey guys, hope someone can help me understand this. I have the Bikeman Performance BOV on my sled. Last winter I was running the evo Stage 0 tune (fuel correction for aftermarket exhaust - NO HP increase) and when you hit the throttle real hard and then let off immediately you could hear the BOV...
I made my own boost leak tester thingy - hope I did this correctly! I found one leak at one of the intake boots.. Tightened the clamp and that went away but I am getting a pretty good air leak out of the small hose that runs into the air box (see pic). I have the Bikeman Performance blow off...
I know this may not belong here but I posted in another forum and go no replies.... If you carry Torco with you on your sled what do you put it in? I'm worried about it exploding/can breaking in the rear storage bag on the back of my tunnel...
Also, any suggestions for water bottles that won't...
What are you all using to carry water and Octane boost on your sleds in the rear tunnel storage bag? I don't want to worry about anything breaking open and making a mess!
I just torqued mine down per the manual at 12 lb ft and 3 of them stripped. I'm beyond mad at this point.... I'm guessing that means I need a new chaincase?
I'm in the process of maintenance and replacing my PTO side drivesahft bearing and installing Travis Wedgy thingy... Any reason to replace the chaincase driveshaft seal or do those last for a long time typically?
This video is with a new bearing... I do have the thing from BOP to expand the shaft. Is that good enough to just use that to tighten it up or do I need a new shaft?
I've done so much reading on here it makes my eyes hurt lol.
Bought my SW and rode 519 miles in the winter of 17/18 - totally stock.
Before the winter of 18/19 I did the following:
EVO exhaust w/tuning - but stock HP.
911 clutch cover
Thunder clutching secondary rollers
Thunder Big Venom...
My 06 Apex rtx has developed an issue this season. When it was very cold out (between 10 and negative 16 F) it was very hard to start. I had to pin the throttle to get it started and then feather it around 2,000 rpms for a couple minutes before it would run on its own. When it's warmer out...
I'm in the beautiful (cold!) UP right now and have a few things that have happened.
First day (Sunday) pulling out of trailer I get code SD84. I shut the sled off, then re-start it and all is good.
Later that evening it was about negative 16 degrees, going down the trail if I got on the...
Exploded a belt on Tuesday so getting things cleaned up and noticed this area on the clutch shaft between sheeves that is shiny (right side) whereas the rest isn't.... ??
I opened up the chaincase on my SW to check the 2 screws on the tension roller. They were tight and had green locktite on them. I adjusted my tension to finger tight then 1.5 turns out.... Check out the video, chain seems really loose. I did the same thing on an '18 viper a couple weeks ago and...
still can't get them... That is crazy that they are not ready yet. What else should I be considering? I was going to get the Curve skis with 6" slim jims. 80-90% trail riding in the UP of Michigan.

Looks like a nice product...
I know there is days of reading on this topic.... I have the Hurricane clutch alignment tool. I put the tool on and there is a little play, I put a one MM washer in there with the go-no-go part and that made it fit snug. So, is 1 MM of play there too much? I do not have any shims/washers on the...

Tried searching :). I'm just busy doing maintenance and upgrades and was comparing the tension bolt on my SW to my SR Viper (both 18's). The SW is in WAY further (I first adjusted both to make sure). The Viper bolt sticks out about another...
