Got it done today. Said screw it and divoted the whole day to it. took me 2 hours. lol Once you get going its not too bad. Just need to pretend its someone elses sled.

So with another summer fast approaching I find myself dreaming of this summers build. My sled to date is very stock, but i plan on changing that over the summer months. Im going with a challenger extream 162/16 with 2.5" paddles, Timbersled rear skid, 4" drop brackets and a 2 wheel kit with 8"...

So to pull out the airbox tray you just need to back off the 4 clamps? thats it? The manual doesnt help much...

Well thats it for me. got to as far as getting ready to pull the airbox out and im done. i dont even know where to drain the oil. my dealership stole my manual on me so that i have to go back to them for work. looks like it worked, however im going to use a different dealership. im gonna try...

I am serching. But with 12 707 results for oil change #$%&* Doing this in a few hours. Im sure ill find it, but pics would help. Its my understanding that you need to pull the air box, battery box and skid off. Any special tools?

My local dealership wants $250 to change my oil. So looks like im on my own... It cant really be THAT hard is it? :drink:

do you have to run the track any tighter?

From what i undertand it makes it handle better in the powder. Makes it easyer to sidehill and boondock. All the new sleds that are comming out this year are set up that way. The new Cat HCR for exaple.

Anyone here use the 2 wheel kit to just move your outer wheels inside? How is it? Is it worth the extra $$ performance wise to go to the 8" wheels?

I have the track, but sounds like it might just be cheaper to add noss... :nos got the stock helix and stock springs on there way. Ill play with the weights a bit i guess. I still do ride around here a bit, its only like 1000'. I will realisticly only get to the mountains like 5 times a year...

Do you really need the limiter straps tight? I set mine at the 3rd from bottom hole... havent tried it yet, but it came from factory all the way loose!?!?!?
