Wow! Yamaha is on its way out of the sled biz for sure. Only making the vector and apex still is maybe because there is no new investment involved with those 2 machines. Done with the nytro, phazer will be next. Only thing "new" isnt new at all. They supply engines and deivetrains and yamaha...
What a joke. Why cant yamaha get their crap together. Ive been on yamis for 18 years. On an apex se now. Looking to sell it and find something lighter more agile more fun. Want to stick with yami and like the idea of the viper but wtf? Seriously thinkin about a doo 1200 if yami cant get it together.
I needle grease the bearings at the beginning of every season. If your careful you can slide the needle between te seal and the steel portion of bearing without damaging the seal. . I do this with most of my idler wheel bearings also. Amazing what a couple shots of grease will do for a ball bearing.
I have no darting issues whatsoever so im gona try shimming with my deuce bars first and go from there. That experiment will be free so im gonna give that a try. I will also
Try dropping the front air pressure. That seems backwards but ill try it. Seems less ski pressure wont make it turn...
Just
Called bergstrom. Told them my issues. To
Start they are sending me their shim kit
For the 2011 apex free of charge to try and see if that resolves my issues. If not ill order the '11 specific triple points.
Ok well maybe ill go to snowtrackers or call up bergstroms. Sled has 750 miles. I can deal with darting and would rather have razor sharp turning. Well are the snowtrackers ez to install? Do i have to drill out the ski?? I had berg trip points on my 06 apex. I thought that bergstrom website said...
Hey guys. Love the power steering. Hate the pushing in the tighter corners. I have played with the air pressure in the front floats. And also have pulled up the limiter strap a couple holes. Running new 6" duece Shaper bars with 102 studs. I think part of it is the snow conditions but i want to...
Looking to head tbis way in about 9 days. 2 of us. Thinking of staying either at Krupps resort or The Yooper Cabin (yooper lodge). Has anyone stayed at either of these places? If so which is better/worse? Just looking for some input before i book a place. Didnt know what the interiors were like...
I know of 2 dealers in north central indiana that will have several to choose from. Out of 10 ordered total, i think the two dealers said only 2 or 3 total, were sold. I dont know if they have them yet or not though.
Ok. Sounds good. Do you guys think its better to set them cold vs in a 50 degree shop? That way when i get to the trail i dont habe to re-adjust the pressures? I know when i picked it up last year the psi was set where it needed to be in the delers shop. Next morn it was 20 degrees outside and...
