No, not after you install the Yamaheater. Turning the OEM setting to off turns the Yamaheaters to high to get the bars temp up then when your hands start to burn toggle the OEM switch to 5/6 setting and it should stay warm. Repeat after sled has sat for awhile.

That link to the tech bulletin pdf refers to adjusting an RX-1 I believe not an XTX. I know my adjustment rods look nothing like what is in the diagram.
