Has anyone fitted the Skinz brake lever replacement that fits Hayes Brake/Master Cylinders? I really miss the brake feeling from my Apex and is hoping that the Skins adjustable brake lever will help somewhat. Interested in your opinions.

I saw that the only Japan built sled with model year 2019 was the VK540. Seems like production in Japan is being terminated. The end of Yamaha sleds. I wonder for how many more years we will see Yamaha branded Arctic Cats...

Obviously the supply agreement is now working both ways with chassis and motors. 2019 Arctic Cat will release the Apex with the new 2 stroke 800! The Prowler is reborn! :jump:

Isn't the squeaking coming from the rubber between the ski and spindle?

W Wasn't the Sidewinder designed so you didn't need to let it idle after riding? That is the information I have read in all communication from Yamaha.

Im wondering where the bottleneck is. Engine supply from Japan or chassis factory in US? Regarding accessories list and such maybe the mothership is a bit lost after the move from Japan...

The weight stamped is the weight in running order. At least in Sweden so 280 would be wet and fully fueled.

I saw a Swedish specs sheet from Arctic Cat where the XF 9000 153 weighed 241 kg dry. (531 lbs). If that is correct then it should be somewhere around that for the sidewinders as well.
