I have 1800 miles on my srx and noticed a rattle/clicking noise at low speed. Noticed when I grab a little brake it goes away. The brake rotor is a bit loose. You can move it back and forth with your hand.
Anyone know the fix for this?
Glare ice conditions on the lake so went out for a test. Not sure on the distance but didn't take long to run out of gear. RPMS started to climb around 124 mph and they were up to 9400from 9000 by the time I hit 127 mph so I let off the throttle

The coolant level keeps rising in my coolant tank.
What could it be? Head gasket, Rad cap, air lock......
Did a 70 mile rip today and temps stayed between 168 and 176. Every rip the coolant level rises in the tank

Have my sled at the dealer and they said they were going to put it back in my trailer but when they went to start it there was nothing. Its drawing lots of power because the lights go really dim but won't roll over. You can turn the primary by hand by the way.
Any suggestions would help

My RTX Se comes with 24/50 gears and a 92 link chain. I ordered the 41 T gear from Yamaha but the 86 link chain that I ordered with is too short. The only other option that Yamaha has for chains is a 90 link. Does anyone know if the 90 link will be too long?? They said my stock 92 link is too...
Did a 90 mile ride on a mixture of groomed trails, powder and lakes and I was pleased with the mileage. Used 31 litres which is good as far as I'm concerned. We rode pretty hard, not nursing it! No gas caddy needed for my sled :Rockon:

Did some top end runs on a plowed track yesterday and thought I would post the results. Temp was 0 Celsius and we were running about 0.6 miles. Plowed track was about 0.4 miles but we would go down the lake a bit further then hit the track. Gps was used

I searched the forum , but never got a real answer.
I put a stud through my heat exchanger and ran it with the yellow light on for a little ways. Fixed the exchanger, but it now only idles on 3 cylinders and runs rough until you get up to cruising speed.

Noticed some belt dust down by the foot well, checked the belt and noticed the top of the belt is somehow rubbing on the Guard. Is this normal? I also noticed that the belt is sitting level with the clutch. Shouldn't the belt be a bit higher than the secondary?
Have a 2010 LTX GT and did a few top speed runs this weekend. At 112 mph(on GPS) the RPM is at 10,600. Shouldn't the RPM max out around 10800? Ulmer stage 2 is on the way, so maybe that will pick the rpm up a bit? I have 1000 kms on it.
