My 6 year old daughter is on her second season on a ZR200.
When she is in school, my wife (5`6 and 130lbs) tags along when I go for a ride and she prefers the 200 to her Yam540. Its not quick with her on it but she feels more comfortable and safe.
She has no problems covering a 50km ride of mix...
Mine does the same thing when running the left over fuel from the previous season.
After the first refill its fine.
Any chances you have some old fuel in there?
My 6 year old, at 45lbs, is on her second winter with her ZR200.
First winter it was intimidating for her, but this year she is truly enjoying it.
I would say that the 200 range is between 5 to 10.
According to Yamaha, the 2020 Scoots get new , Handlebars, Steering Post, Tie rods, Butterfly Style Carburetor, Tighter Steering Radius, Airbox, Flip-lever Choke and Throttle Lever.
That trail was previously closed completely. So its not so much a ban of 2 strokes, but a re-introduction of snowmobiles starting by the 4 strokes....with limited speeds, times and a toll fee to top it off.
I had the same issue when I bought my 2007. I weighed 150 back then and it was either hard to steer, or I would let a few holes out of the limiting strap and then it would push in corners.
The 2 things I did that helped a lot were :
- Install 'easy streers' on the original skis with the limiter...
The 4000 is no longer part of the lineup. The 3000 is the step up from the kid sleds and its in line with the ACE 600. Great sled to get new riders going. We have one and its a perfect fit for family riding.
AC already uses the Sidewinder and Viper, they are called Thundercat, 9000 and 7000.
I doubt they will up the Thundercat to a more 'premium' model. Sleds are already expensive enough and the TC has always been the top dog for them.
What the heck is 'Yamaha mystique'?
I think its too late to be a flop; the Ctec 600 has been in production sleds since 2014 and they have sold tons of them. From what I see and read its a very reliable 600 with similar hp has the Doo and Poo. No one is complaining about them.
