Do anybody have a video of a sidewinder running 3’’ Sandale Hyperflow Exhaust on the snow? I know its going to be louder then stock. Is it just annoying or is it a sound you can deal with. I’m not a trail rider more of a backcountry rider. But I don’t want something that I have to use earplugs...
Ever wonder if you could talk to the right person in Yamaha, who would they recommend to tune your sidewinder. I would think they have a preferred tuner in mind.
As of right now my sled is 100% stock. And I have been considering getting hurricane 270hp SS SM tune.
Question #1 If I get the 270hp SM tune will it be the SS tune? Or is it extra?
Question #2 I have the 18 BTX so it comes with the extra intake around the handlebars. Do I need the cold air...
Do anybody know if you can change the sensitivity of the brake light switch. I have a aftermarket brake handle on my sled and my only complaint is you have to pretty much lock up the track with the brake handle for the switch to activate
early this year someone posted a picture of the new rollover valve on the new 2020. The valve looked to be heated. You guys with the 2020’s can you verify this new valve? Maybe take a few photos. Does anybody know if you can retro fit the new valve for the 17-19.
I'm looking at installing Yamaha rear grab bar and hitch kit. Just wondering is it strong enough to carry gas without bending the tunnel. I have the linq gas caddy, is there anybody use this?
I posted this in the mountain forum but didn't get a response, hopefully I will here.

Looking for so help trying to figure out what skis to use on my BTX. I'm between the BX (7" wide) and the MTX (8" wide). I know c&a is saying to use MTX with four strokes due to the extra weight. But I'm afraid it will effect sidehill or boondocking. Do anyone have any insight?
Hey guy's I wear FXR boot (which I love) and I found last winter that my boot was to thick height wise for the foot well. Is there anything I could do to resolve this? Without buying another pair of boots.
Has anybody got a picture of a 50th theme wrap on there sidewinder. I'm going to be doing a wrap over the summer however I still want people to know it's a 50th
I install a 180lbs spring on my BTX for better transfer. However once the spring showed up the spring was only 7 inches long, it needed to be at least an extra inch longer. So as you can see in the picture I added some washers to use as spacers to make up for the extra inch. I have a trip...
Just got back from a 3 days trip on my sled. This is the first time driving this sled. First of all Yamaha did a great job with this sled. For the past three days all I did way back country riding, so a lot of on and off throttle use. I checked my clutch a few times and they were cold with zero...
What type of rivets are used on the foot wells of the sidewinder? I'm about to install a rear bumper and I'm thinking the rivets should be aluminum, since the whole tunnel is aluminum
I'm about to install ac pro mtn rear bumper on my 50th winder. But I need to know the color of the red that is used on the tunnel. I want to powder coat the bumper to match the red.
Anybody have this information?
I have been trying to find a way to mount a GPS on my winder in a place that it won't be broken off. Especially being a backcountry rider placing a GPS on the handlebar it just won't last.
So I email Dave from hurricane and of course he had exactly what I was looking for. But I'm not sure if I...
