where to start
the most notable influences i felt would be the track, personally i loved the powerclaw over the challenger! then i would say a tie between steering relocate and rear suspension. but i have not gotten the + 4 forward front suspension and what i hear its the bees knees.probably...
code 30
i get that code a lot. i roll my sled out of sticks its the pressure in the engine. there is a aftermarket solution that is supposed to help by oft. the roll over valve haven't gotten it yet. i usually just let the sled si level for a few while taking a break and it goes away until i...
challenger
i changed from mav to powerclaw ripped the powerclaw and then whent with the challenger take off as stated they come at a great price but my thoughts are the challenger is better than the mav but not as good as the powerclaw the pc just hooked up better in all conditions. the...
skid
just put one in my 09 a couple months ago and yea it rips. i have noticed that the skis lift a little more than stock but by no means is it up like a boosted sled. it is a better sled know that i have swapped. hopped this helped. :sled1:
bottoming out
yup torsion springs the stiffer the better had the same prob. w mine it helped but not like ts suspension w fox shocks. you can find used for around 1000.00 bucks just keep looking they go fast. sg ;)!
just got my skid plate from mountaintech for my nytro. the fit and finish of this plate is outstanding and one of the easiest installs Ive done to her. just wanted to say thank you for a awesome product. SG :jump:
thanks
thank you everyone. sorry for taking so long to reply, but adjusted the track tensioners and it moved over. it is probably a little of bent tunnel and rear axle.it took a end over end hit late last spring didn't see any apparent damage afterwords but this may b what i am seeing and also...
aftermarket bearings
are there any aftermarket bearings that might be better more durable. would like to get the track spinning effortlessly while belt is off. thanks SG
just changed out my track and pulled the belt to see how easy to roll the track and herd the track rubbing the tunnel. this cant b good. is there something im missing. its stock track with timber rear suspension. also the reason im replacing back to stock is had a powerclaw on and it ripped...
has anyone done this or know anything about this? was thinking of doing this to lose a couple lb's. maybe put an actual gauge to watch the temp? mostly riding deep powder at or above 10000 ft not much trail this is for a 09 nytro with some venting and doing more. thanks in advance
keeping up w/ m8
hey you will definitely be able to blow him out of the water when the 2 smoke blows up and yer grinning ear to ear pulling him out. yea i got friends with various sleds and it bugs me sometimes that i cant go every where they do but i get satisfaction every year when im pulling...
vents
if you can get a hold of some trampoline material it works great very sturdy breaths well and keeps snow out. made a few with it backed with expanded metal and rivets with washers works great, and cheap. put a vent wherever you like. hope this helps mike ;)!
torsion springs
had the same problem on mine. clean it up like their saying. and replace the torsion springs with the heavy duty ones. this helped alot. once replaced set it on soft and work up from there. i beleive i ended up on med. with the new stiffer spring. mike
i thought a while back i saw a thread on hear with detailed step by step instructions on how to pull your track. done a search and no luck finding it. if any one knows of this or where it is. would greatly appreciate it. mike
front end
just wrapped up replacing my front end on 09 mtx. i would definitely check that front end. replaced my a arms and shock to find out no change in the spindle. was front frame all whacked out. easy way to tell is look inside the front frame and find the round plate at bottom in between...
sway bar
cut mine as close as i could. came out nice and easy. i undid mine from the bolt and let it hang for a hole season with no problem other than never using it again. cut that sun of a, well you know. mike ;)!
spacers
i have the gen 2's and i believe what you're talking about is the span between you're skis if i understand correctly i have mine set with the long spacer on the inside to narrow the overall distance i believe that this helps in the boon docking and deep stuff. the wider spacer on the...
