im on the fence between the RTX LE and LTX LE and which one is getting my deposit money this year. im not a huge fan of the float evol shocks though and that is leaning me away from the RTX version.
why did yamaha not use Elka shocks on their upper tier sleds like all of their racing programs...
return of the "VMAX" name with apex level NA power is what im hoping for! seems the boosted viper engine is just to buy them time for what they are working so hard to hide..

i dont have a clue where to get them for the older SX chassis sleds anymore.. think all the manufacturers moved to the newer style chassis for their products
i had heard that the first year of this chassis (when it was a cat only chassis) that they had issues with the bulkheads coming apart. this problem i know has since been resolved though. havent heard of anything else "coming apart" especially not since its been a shared platform anyway..
well, thought the season would have been over long ago, but woke up this morning to a foot of fresh, heavy spring snow. one of the best riding seasons i have ever seen here in this area, we have seen around 340" of total snowfall this year so far and no sign of spring in sight! :drink:
you only see 111 on radar? i had an 07 GT (no longer with me) that i had 121 on radar on back to back runs, and a buddys 06 RTX would do 120 on back to back runs. both stock sleds with studded tracks (i had around 196 studs on mine)
i have a 16' tandem axle v nose trailer with the axles under the trailer. no "tippyness" its simple to get sleds in and out. the trailer has extra room inside due to the deletion of the wheel wells and i added cabinets as well. still 3 sleds in easily
