I put a Camoplast 1.5 Crossover track last week and let me tell you that this upgrade totally change my sled. The traction that I have now is way better than the stock ripsaw.
If you ask me, having more power without traction will do nothing good to your sled. Traction is key, putting the HP...
Ok guys, I find the answers to all of my question.
Some other guy replied to a post yesterday and had all the step by step to the Pilot ski intalation.
So now I know exacly where I stand. Nice to see that my Yammi loop will also fit those skis.
Looked at the skidoo online store and I find a fastener kit with carbide and rubbers.

Would that kit be useful for instalation?
Hey guys,
Going to buy a set a Pilot 6.9 skis to go on my 2009 XTX Nytro.
Just wondering what are you guys using for mount so that they fit on the Nytro.
Thanks
Does it really matter if you use the stock mounting with Doo idler wheel?
I know that the Doo bearing (6205) is 3mm thicker than the Yammi (6005) but all the pressure is on the outside washer and nut.
So why are you guys machining the mounts or putting Doo mounts?
The reason for my post is that I made a search on wich belt was popular, and everybody was saying that OEM was hard so it's slips on the clutches causing heat and loosing HP. But yes it is a lot more tougher.
I think that's why a couple of you guys are using the Ultimax XS. Softer and more...
I've been looking for a new belt for my 2009 XTX (first year riding it).
Ultimax XS805 : 45.125'' X 1.375''
Dayco XTX5033 : 44.5'' X 1.415''
I think the Dayco would run higher on the secondary, but would it be too high?
There must be one belt that is better than the other considering...
thanks guys for all the replies.
First of all, no I don't have 4k$ to spend so forget about turbos.
Looks like clutching it and putting a Hiflow manifold would work good. Ulmer told me about that manifold.
Already have the extra wheel kit, the snowtracker runners, high windshield and studs...
Hey guys,
Was a skidoo owner for the past 3 years but always wanted to tried the 09 Nytro XTX. So I bought one. Everything stock.
What's the first mod I should do to get more performance out of this sled?
Acceleration is my first priority, second is top end.
Thanks.
