Keep an eye on your chain tensioner idler bolt!

Exactly what mine looked like at 5000 miles.. I posted about this earlier in Yamaha06 chain case maintenance post. My buds XTX let go at 3000 miles and took the chain and gears out.. Very weak link that should be addressed by Yamaha for sure.. Upper gear bushing also. Not the Quality of the old...

    Chain Case Maint.

Make sure you check your chain tensioner out. The little screws that hold the wheel in place can wear and cause a bigger problem..

Sidewinder or 850. What to buy

Yes my blocks and bar are both out with no issues.. My limiter strap was let out to the last hole.. I have powder pro skis on it so it gives it a little lighter steering without push.. That's it!

Sidewinder or 850. What to buy

Take the blocks out and you will love it! 2100 miles on mine without the blocks.. Great over the rises , just touch the throttle and hover the skis!

The sidewinder just keeps getting better.

Yamaha paid my dealer for Ulmer rollers before they even had a factory replacement.. Your dealer sucks! Tell him to make a call!

The sidewinder just keeps getting better.

I feel the same about the Sled! Gets better the more miles you put on it! Just turned 2000 miles over the weekend! You should change the roller though, only a matter of time they will flat spot. Free Update at the dealer..
