Yes EDP customers get the "Cash Back"
Yes dealers have the program
Products are different prices in different countries based on the economy
For instance
A 40th Apex Mtn is $23,000 can in Sweden
An R1 in Brittain is over $18,000 can (same price as an Apex)
Would an Apex be same as...
When I did my RX1 I weighed what i took of and the entire exhaust system aside from a few clamps and such weighed 31lbs
The muffler must be 20 of that
I would doubt a turbo kit from anyone would add more than 10 - 15lbs
Yes it will fit, you need to cut off the captive nut chaincase mount inside the tunnel, I put the bolt in from the inside out and cut the head down a couple mm
and yes swap out the rear drop brackets for some flat plate items
Repacking it is fine but not if it's rough
Huck it before it breaks, clean out the mung that's in the new bearing and put a bit of good quality lube in it
You can charge a battery directly through any cigarette lighter socket as far as I know so all you need is lighter to lighter, most sleds have 3a available and both sleds are fused, ..........just gotta be sure your buddies all have them too.
I did it this way
Power the fuel pump off the big blue wire on the load control relay
Second power wire with a Diode from the starter wire so there is pressure when cranking
If it's flooded I just unplug the butt connector of the wire from the starter and crank er
Dont remove the stator, you will never get anything from a visual inspection
You just do a simple running test on the 3 phase (3 white wires) and it's good or it's bad, if you pull the cover off you cant test the stator
You should have 50 - 80v ac at 2000rpm and should be the same on all 3...
My concern would be carbon deposits in the ring land
In a drag race engine that is torn down regularly this wont be a problem but a daily runner is different, I think a stuck ring would be worse than a poor sealing one
I'm gonna vouch for Wildchilds kit
Not a hard install and at least a tough as stock
Added benefit, it is like adding a 2 inch riser and you dont even have to change the throttle cable
When you roll the sled the mountain bar is the first to make contact with the ground
The cable does not tolerate kinking like that and breaks at some point after that, could be days, could be weeks
Call it crash damage
Thrusted Vector answered some of those questions but lets put this in perspective
Machines all have something that is less than perfect, whether it's a toaster or a snowmobile, you always wish something was better
The apex is not going to break the Crank @3000km, one brand you can set your...
Man there's a lot of errors in this post
It weighs as much as a MM (within 10-20 lbs.) AND it's 20 Hp LESS than that sled (the MM) that is now 10 years OLD!!!!
NOT: A stock MM was NOT 500lbs, nor was it 511 like the brochure said, more like 530
Entry level sled with NO potential to be...
Dallas, I have the exact same thing as you except for the intercooler, all I have is the cheepo plastic 50buck bov and I have very little chop problems, it wont stall, it might get burbly for a few seconds but that's about it
I dunno about Tison stuff, good luck
Big boost and race gas makes...
If you have a chance to see a driveshaft out of an Apex you can see that the Xtro's are timed back a bit from the other drivers, they are not even being used until the track starts to slip over the involute
So they shouldn't cause vibration while cruising
I think that losing over 2lbs from the...
Its pretty common to have a catastrophic failure of 1 cyl while the others look good
There are many reasons
1 being manufacturing tolerances on everything from the carb to the header
2 being once detonation starts it does not want to stop, that damage happened in a matter of seconds not...
If I were you I would pull my chaincase cover and look at the chain and gears
Also inspect your left side driveshaft bearing
Racheting extroverts takes a loose track and lot of horsepower
Have you relocated any of your suspension mounts?
