    2021 Sidewinders

I've also had many fancy shocks and QS3 on my viper, all were great shocks! The problem with all of them is you need to stop to adj. them. How many time have you been going down the trail stop at the stop sign adj. shocks for conditions you just rode on, take off and the trail changes either...

    2021 Sidewinders

Black looks good but then you can't get the premium IQS shocks. Love the SRX but 1" lug won't cut it! It doesn't make sense Yamaha can't offer multiple colors with a snow check program. They will have an order for every sled before they start building, so no worry of having an odd colored sled...

BREAKING NEWS... DENVER BRONCOS BUY YAMAHA

FACT 1. As the heading states I was referring to the orange & blue (LTX LE). FACT 2. The T-cat is far less money (close to 2k OTD) for the same sled LTX-LE. You can't argue with facts! I wish they would hire me or someone who actually is a serious rider, its clear they aren't listening to...

    2021 Sidewinders

First time in 30yrs I wont be on a Yamaha! Talked to both dealers. Just snow checked a T-cat with the ATAC the sidewinder LTX LE is the same sled by specs (clutching aside). The cat was over $2600 less ,out the door, than the yamaha and that is giving credit for the 500 visa card also. I can...

BREAKING NEWS... DENVER BRONCOS BUY YAMAHA

The LTX SE does and the SRX. However both fall way short on the important features! The LTX SE needs the electronic shocks and the SRX needs a track that's not from the 90's. I never understood why yamaha made a lake racer (SRX) lowered to ground and small lug track for studs and put the best...

    2021 Sidewinders

You wouldn't think it would be that hard to figure out would it. I sold my sled a week ago in hopes to snowcheck a sled. The SRX looks great but track sucks and the LTX LE is ugly. Hate to say it but I'm going to order a T-cat and save $2k

BREAKING NEWS... DENVER BRONCOS BUY YAMAHA

My new sidewinder will be a John Elway limited edtion haha. What a disappointing release! I held off snow checking last year do to a slim line up, and it got worse this year. Who ever is in charge of sleds at yamaha needs to go. I don't understand why on a snow check (that is a guaranteed...

    PERFORMANCE DAMPNER ON 2016 VIPER

yes their is a difference, about 1.5lbs more weight with them. All reality I don't notice any diff. Guessing that's also why Yamaha only offered them one year for viper.

Yamaha Poll: What Skis are you running on your Sidewinder?

Model: 2016 viper ltx le Track Length: 137 Studded: No Type of rider: Aggressive Trail Rider. Yamaha should already know the answer to their question. It's why we have the viper and sidewinder today. Cat didn't have an engine that made any torque and Yamaha didn't have a chassis that...

    Tunnel flares with bags ?

I got rid of my straps and use the LinQ system on my tunnel bag. works great, takes out all the slope straps have and is much easier on and off. http://ty4stroke.com/threads/new-way-to-mount-tunnel-bag-w-linq.146347/

New way to mount tunnel bag w LinQ

Adapta-link came from white out technologies. I will post some better pics. the bracket attaches to bag w SS bolts, I use a 1/4" X 1" piece of Al. for a shim between bag and latch then another piece inside on back side. Bag is rock solid now no side movement. Well worth it. Don't feel bad about...

New way to mount tunnel bag w LinQ

I got tired of the straps on my tunnel bag coming loose, so I adapted the the linQ system to my yamaha tunnel bag. Now the bag is solid and doesn't move when going down the trail, and it's a snap to take on and off. see pics

Spare Belt is there a place to keep it on your sled?

thats how i did mine. I made a bracket right off the belt shield fits great. To bad yamaha wouldn't spend an extra $1 on a belt clip!
