This is my first sled without studs to put it in perspective lol it is by far the most fun sled I've ever owned, I can do a lot less digging, get everywhere I want to go, and then ride 100 miles back to camp like a boss haha. I don't know how but I've fallen in love with staying off trail, this...
I'm really enjoying it, running a test this weekend see if I'm going to settle on a 148 center spring. Other than that I absolutely love it, mpi turbo with the revised oil drain kit and a four stroke ROV has brought my confidence level through the roof. I'm not afraid anymore to get in the trees...
Comments like this make no sense.... It's a bomb waiting to happen ?
There's no fail safes in the sled ? You mean a knock sensor ? No there's not... I don't know of any turbo that adds one either. And the turbo kit, I don't care what brand does not make the sled a short haul drag racer or a...
Good luck with Polaris , both axys in our group have strobe lights and one has no lights dealer said they are having problems with capacitors for headlights and hand Warmers. Annnnnnnd they are on back order...
If you do zero off trail or big bump stuff I don't see what you would be gaining going to the turbo viper. Your going to give up the smooth motor, fuel mileage, and top speed. For something that goes better off trail, handles huge bumps, yet gives up the some strictly trail traits. You will not...
Don't get caught up too much on back purging, a good tig welder can do it without back purging, the back purging just prevents the stainless from "sugaring" on the back/inside of the weld by flowing argon inside the pipes displaces any oxygen and you get a better weld inside and out. I would ask...
So I was comparing the le to the se the other night it looks like my le is a pro limb chassis vs. the pro cross. The tunnel is longer. I don't know what else but there's definitely a difference in the rear tunnel length and how it tips up on the le.
What all is involved for you to put the 153...
Can be welded, should be tig and back purged, if you weren't in canada id say send it to me, the shipping may suck but my offer stands. I own a welding and machine shop. DO NOT let someone that cannot properly repair it touch it. Properly repaired it can be stronger than stock.
Don't use starting fluid. It can damage maf, ait, map, sensors. Starting fluid is a diagnostic tool, not a solution to a problem starting, if you must prime there are safer ways to do it.
We have 1 14 rtx, no issues except the hot start thing, never didn't start but took more cranking than I like.
I have an xtx le and my riding buddy is on an se. Mine is turbo his na, no problems around 1000 miles. One thing I notice is that the ecu must like that extra back pressure because...
This concerns me a bit , my nitro has 10k on it still starts perfectly, this would suck to know these are exactly the same quality parts in the viper failing. I know for sure the 14 viper we have is and was a bitch to start, it never starts like my 15, the 15 starts super quick (and I wait until...
My buddy has a 15 axys we raced ALOT.
bottom line is the following
He comes out harder, but as soon as I gain traction I walk right by him. He has probably 1-2mph on me because if we keep holding it he starts creeping up on me. He's super pissed that my "mountain sled" gets him. He was so...
