definately go with mcx. i dont recommend a SC and i think most would agree. these turbos do not have much lag at all. while other turbos are good as well i think it is safe to say there are more mcx out there on nytros than anything.
I am working on installing a head shim on my nytro (scary to see the sled in that many pieces for the first time!) My question is what is the best way to keep the engine upright on the bench? Does someone make an engine stand that would work?
Thanks for the help!

you will definitely need to reclutch coming from ND, trust me you will regret it if you don't. you wont have "problems" per say but you will not have the power you want or need. depending on what model you have will depend on what stock clutching you have and what you need to change.
do you have a rear mount? do you have a 90 degree elbow if so? with the elbow you can easily kick it or wipe it off quickly whenever you stop. it has been extremely cold around here lately as you know so it is kinda hard to totally avoid.

i bought one of the battery packs as well, very light weight, i can just throw it in the backpack and not even know its there, could turn a very bad day around in a hurry.

a good balclava ( i use klim), good goggle coverage, and that is all i use. i also ride in some low temps and i can honestly say my face has never once gotten cold.
too many people think about sleds being "outdated" or old. if you want an apex go buy it and enjoy it for the next 2 years. we don't always have to have the latest and greatest (although im a very good consumer because I always do :o|
yes I agree, the sky is the limit with these sleds. you can do a few mods and make it more rideable ect, or you can spend $10,000 on these sleds and wonder where it all went.... :)
I have been wanting to do a headlight delete with some led or piaa lights behind the vented delete for awhile now and have found a few options, but I did not find exactly what I wanted. I have been looking on the forums and saw that Cyclops leds have good reviews so I purchased a set of 2 round...
