If your tank and seat are off that'll make it even easier; especially since there are some rivets you have to remove. Just take the protectors off, less spots for the snow to build up. Its a pain, but its not that bad. I love my 1.75" track, would recommend it to people that are in a lot of...

With an RTX your gearing is already low. You should be fine with both stock clutching and gearing. I have the stock drivers and havent run into any problems. If I did it again I would buy some Ski-Doo extros. I just extended mine this year from a 121" to a 136" and I love it. Its an '07...
Had the same problem with my RTX. I like to ride rough so I have the rear suspension front shock maxed out, but also couldnt steer either. So I tightened the limiter strap....and guess what. It broke. It doesnt make any sense if you tighten the shock and then force the limiter straps to be...
I'd say thats a little extreme for "extensions" if thats what your going to do. Best thing would be to get 144" rails.
I stretched mine to 136" this year and I love it!! Never will go back to a 121"
My 2 cents
Yea been snapping mine left and right. Now I have mine all the way out, last hole. I wanted more ski pressure but because how stiff I have my spring set at I have the limiters all the way out. Bought some Pilots and that seemed to help a lot with steering.
I have a 8" Powermadd riser with a 1.25" adapter...which is about 9.25" of riser...I'd say thats about max!! I love it when I stand up its perfect, no more back ache.
rockerdan....search for him for airbox mod. What he did was cut the "ribs" on top of the box out with a dremel and put SLP filter paper over it!! Thats exactly what I did, love it and love the cool sound that came with it!! I ordered a Hauck Fuel Accelerator though, because along with my...
I just bought one. Havent put it on yet. Kinda wondering what people have for settings on their sleds. I have an airbox mod and a gutted exhaust. So Im kinda wondering the same thing. How people have liked it and if they've run into any problems, etc.
What kind of code??
I would recommend about 1.25" to 1.75" (between the hyfax and track) of slack when you pull down on the track. Some people say pull down with a 25 pound weight or scale. I usually just pull down firmly with my hand
Not really much difference between the two. If you like your '07 you will lik the '09 But maybe you might want to wait until Tuesday to make that choice!! Some new sleds are rolling in ; )
