Just an observation from last night reading about new cats (wife had tv on HGTV so I grabbed the coputer). They do look really sharp especially black 50th with retro paint job, love it. Looking at the perfornance line and the crossover line there are 23 sleds offered. Of the 23 sleds there is...
This is a common question asked and you'll find that both options will solve your problem. I personally have the pioneer mounts for my '06 rtx and they work great 3000 miles no slider wear. If I read your post right you said on your ride you chewed up two inner wheels. If this is true then...
 So true. Been on here I think since '05 and have learned so much and traded info and can honestly say not one person has steered me wrong in that time. Great site with great people.
I second the pioneer performance mounts. I put them on 2 1/2 years ago
when I had the suspension out, easy install. No notta nothing as far as slider wear. I'm in central vermont and up untill this year, the past two have been crap. I've ridden in some rough conditions for extended periods...
Kinger,
There are (2) led's under each rail. They mount to the outside of the coolant rail. The wire leads from them run up to the front thru the outside rail tube. Very easy install from Snow Glow, Brad's wire conn. make it a breeze to install. Happy Holidays!
You guys have done some awesome jobs with your sleds. My RTX looks a little warm for the heading "hottest Apex" don't you think? It's been on HCS but thought I'd share with you. Have a "Merry X-Mas everybody!!"
 It never gets old. Just roll up along side a freind and burp it a couple times just to remind them whose got the cheese. I can't wait! Awesome sound!
Comin theme for the mono. With the new mono back in '06 guys were noticing the grease leaking as you did. Easy fix that lasts is JB weld around the base of the fitting. Did this in late '06 when I pulled the skid and painted it. Easy to apply, sets up well and after painting looks original...
Re: WHAT THE HELL
:o| I totally agree 100%!!!!!!! Here in Vermont there is no snow in the forcast for the next ten days and I'm looking at a dusting in my yard!
Great sleds! Nice improvements! New Apex for $14,500 in this economy. Here in Vermont were looking for work. Last season riding done mid Feb. and this season no snow beginning of Feb. Fast becoming a rich mans sport. I'll be keeping the '06 RTX for a long time and lovin it.
:o| Here in central Vermont down low were back to zero and then some. Even if we dumped on this weekend there is too much water. Rivers are out of control as well as small streams. All water bars are back open again. Its going to take 2 weeks of solid freezing temps. to make a difference...
 I added snow glows to my apex two years ago, and so glad I did. As you said when stopping at night along the side of the trail there nothing better than having these lights for safety. We ride a lot here in the valley in central Vermont with a lot of fields. We've had freinds come...
