    2025 SRX photo leak?

I'm not the best with photoshop. I'd like to see a side by side comparison photo of the 2025 SRX and the one VX1R wrapped about 5 years ago. I think they are quite similar?? VX1R was ahead of his time....

    Flasher - Stopped working

Thanks. I opened the case and didn't see any corrosion but will look harder. What did you use to clean it? Rubbing alcohol with a Q-tip?

    Flasher - Stopped working

Was worried about that. The flash to pass button stopped working a few years ago. At least I'll get that functionality back... Would I buy one thru Gap or TD?

    Sidewinders over the years

The great pumpkin...fun sled with the uncoupled slid, longer track and big lugs. A real arm stretcher (and ski puller) down low. Need to have it pointed straight before getting on the gas.

    Flasher - Stopped working

I think my TD Gap flasher quit on me. It has been on the sled since 2018 and worked up thru March last season. Now, it won't connect via the Gap app (the key is on and even tried starting it). The phone app still has the flasher as logged in, just won't "connect to tool". When it's plugged in...

Convinced the wife to go riding this season

I would consider swapping out the torsion springs for something softer. For my SW, I swapped to Hygear twisted torsion spring and that made a big difference with initial sag and a less harsh rebound when I did hit a hard mogul. Not a lot of $ and fairly easy install.

J&T Big Wheel Kit - trail repair question

I really like the design of this kit. I've had it 6 seasons, no issues and the bearings are still good! And I wasn't stranded on the trail when the wheel came off. I talked to the vendor on Tuesday and I have my replacement parts a day later!! Great guy to work with.

J&T Big Wheel Kit - trail repair question

Went out this am to assess everything once it thawed overnight. Unfortunately the bolt sheared off. So, didn’t mess with it. Will need to bring a drill and extractor on my next trip.

J&T Big Wheel Kit - trail repair question

I have a JT big wheel kit on my 2018 SW LTX LE. Currently in UP with 2 more days of riding left. Today I lost an outside wheel. Is there a temporary fix I can do to finish this trip? Use a bolt and washer and tighten against the rail?

I had read that the Hurricane was a louder track than the BC

1.75 Hurricane vs Backcountry X on a SW

I have a 2018 SW LTX LE. I've run a 1.6 Ice cobra from the beginning and now have 6,000 miles. I want to change over to a 1.75 track as we tend to go more off trail in recent years. I have a SM TD jukebox and normal run 250 powertrain. Top speed isn't important to me anymore though. We ride...

Anyone ride with goggles that dont fog?

I switched to the 509 Ignite goggles. More money but when you only ride a few times a year, it's worth it to me. I carry an extra battery with me and have never had a fogging issue.

    1984 Yamaha Flashback

I came across this ad from the local paper in SE MI in 1984. As a 15 year old back then, I remember thinking the Vmax was the coolest sled I'd ever seen. Fast forward to today and it's still in my top 5 looking sleds. I still have a 1980 300 twin and love ditchbanging with it whenever we get...

    Passing Lane Syndrome

After another trip to the UP, it never ceases to amaze me when someone drives 5 mph below the posted limit UNTIL they reach the passing lane zone and then immediately speed up 10 MPH. Only to slow right back down once the passing lane ends. I chalk it up as an opportunity to practice patience...
