Snow is on the way....check your trailer now....

What brand trailer do you have? What model year? Did you have a heavy load toward the front of your trailer on that trip? Curious why it happened, glad you were able to beef it up! Let it snow!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What would you change about your trailer now that you've used it for a while?

I'm planning to update from a 2004 Aluma 12 foot ride on/off trailer. I bought it used in 2007 and it's been good to me. I'm replacing the wiring harness that has given me some challenges, but I expect that will be sorted out and make a good trailer for the next guy. I know I want an inline...

Snow is on the way....check your trailer now....

Weekend of disappointment. I used my trailer to deliver some Christmas wreaths I sold through the local Lions club only to realize the wire fix that took me hours to trace didn't fix a thing. So I have the wife convinced a new inline is the ticket. However, selling the 12' ride on/off still...

Snow is on the way....check your trailer now....

Great tips. I have a clamshell and had to track down a broken wire. It is always an easy fix once you find the faulty wire, but finding it took me a few hours. I've polished the aluminum atp guard, waxed the top and started to polish the trailer aluminum. Still need to shoot grease into the ez...

Thoughts on 2012 Yamaha Nytro XTX

The nytro is the perfect Sled for a person that likes to make mods. The list of things you can do is endless. There are so many was to set them up. I want it all out of my sled. Float in the Powder and rail on the trails. Still working on that, lol.

Yes, to me it helped smooth out the sled. I had the skid shock modified by Robert also and bought the spring he suggested. The sag is still in my sled. I have never done anything to the rear shock or added hygear spacers. Also. While the skid is out, search the site for the limiter strap fix...

Thanks Agman57. Does your trailer have seamless panels, rivets or screws. I think this '06 has rivets, we were assuming based on the model year. It is parked at his cottage up north now so I haven't had a chance to look it over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm talking to a friend about his 2006 R&R 7x25 inline. Does anyone have an older R&R to give feedback? He used it for hauling sleds, quads and for his contracting business. Just wonder if they hold up over time? I'd be upgrading from my 12 foot ride on/ride off Aluma clamshell trailer. We...

The track swap is well documented here on TY. It saved my bacon! I like to tinker in the garage, but my skill is more suited to polishing my tunnel than wrenching, lol. I use decisions like a track swap to justify new tools though! To answer your question now, it wasn't too bad. I had removed...

What did I just bring home? =D

Nice looking machine! Congratulations! I'd encourage you to read your owners manual. It can help you understand the shocks and how to adjust them. From there, this site can help you out. There are some incredibly knowledgeable members on here to help you get to know and love that machine. Even...

Any polish works. Lots of elbow grease. Corded drill with a variety of buffing wheels from harbor freight. The white rouge works too. The more you do, the easier it is to get the shine back. I still want more shine from mine. It can get better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes. Not hard when the skid and track are out. I used an angle grinder and CAREFULLY ground off the welds on the heat exchanger. I also installed an oft block off plate. I still notice ice buildup. Not as bad as before with the tunnel protectors in though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The pics give you a look at the star suspension kit and dura flex scratchers. A must with the back country track. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
