    MPI turbo nytro 180 kit.

Mode 1~4 are as follows. .5, 0, 2.5 and 5.5 That is from E&S Yamaha from Alberta. Mpi numbers were 3, 0, 4.5, and 3. Sled would not idle on mode 1 and setting of 3, had to turn that as low as possible to keep it running.

    MPI turbo nytro 180 kit.

Any one running a MPI turbo 180 kit at sea level or 1600~ 2000'. Looking for what you have your gems fuel settings at. I am finding mine is loading up on fuel while cursing at 60 mph. Afr numbers are around 11.8 to 12 and I am only seeing maybe 1 lb of boost at cursing speeds. If I wack the...

    muffler finished?

It probably a muffler that you can re pack. Those bolts are there for a reason. If it wasn't , most likely it would have had a rolled crimped end or welded all the way around. 6000 would blow out the packing . I think Hindle recommends doing his around 4-5000 miles. Won't hurt to take the...

    Temp sensor adaptor

26mm is the size, you can get away with 24 mm and still get a good seal. The way mountaintech shows is also another way. I did mine that way and when I did the wife's sled I used the adapter. Both ways work. You will like the gauge , it can be a little hard to read when the sun is directly...

    Engine oil

Only negative reason would be the price of Yamaha oil. When the other oil is not on sale they are all about the same price per liter.

    Your biggest splat

That would be $500 USD, You might find a good used one in Canada for $500 CDN. Stealership here quoted me $1100 for a new sub frame, that was back when our money was on par with the USA. I got one from the States for $450 USD back in 2012. I did 4 gusset kits in one week that year for friends...

Doesn't want to start right away..

Ours when really cold will fire 2 times and shut off and stay running on the third start. 95% of the time though they are in a heated shop so they lite up right away. My buddies when parked outside no matter what temperature will always take 3 tried before it stays running.

Think this heat deflection will work on my mountain addiction tanks?

I probably have a scrap piece of aluminum out in my garage. If you give me some accurate measurements and pay the shipping I will build the deflector for you.

Think this heat deflection will work on my mountain addiction tanks?

If that is just the thin aluminum foil tape then it will be bare minimum. I would cover the whole back of the tank. Do you have access to any thin aluminum, like 1/16th or 60 thou aluminum. It is so easy to build a small deflector if you have access to a small vice and a hammer or even know a...

Should this foil tape work well for deflecting heat from my Mountain Addiction gas cans?

There is another gas can out there called the gas thingy. It comes with a 2 gallon can and mounting plate. The gas can is in its own bag and it connects to the bottom plate. Pull a lever and take the can off. You can mount it off to one side to help with clearance issues. I think I paid $110...

    Nytro/Viper Gearing

Two total different sleds you are talking about. Nytro is a full Yamaha sled and Viper is a Arctic Cat / Yamaha hybrid. All cat components besides the nytro engine and clutches. Different chain case , jack shafts, suspensions , yatta , yatta , yatta, all that plays into gear selection.

    Under tunnel exhaust on 2013?

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Maybe check with a yamaha dealer and see if they know of any changes to the exhaust pipe. I don't recall ever hearing any changes. I had the option of getting a skins under tunnel pipe when I did a turbo install last year as my turbo was a mid mount kit. I...

Should this foil tape work well for deflecting heat from my Mountain Addiction gas cans?

You could simply get a thin piece of aluminum about 1/16 " thick maybe 10" long and just higher then your turn out. Bend a 1" 90 degree bend on the bottom and the cut into the bend 1" where you want to make the other bend into a L shape. Now use the 1" lip to rivet to the tunnel under the gas...

COMPLETED- MA gas rack installed and tail light moved

I have the gas thingy which is mounted similar to yours. I made a small deflector out of thin aluminum . Bent it to fit the back and down the side. I don't have any pics on this computer but I may have posted a picture on here last winter. My buddy got a tunnel back in 2008 when the MTX...

COMPLETED- MA gas rack installed and tail light moved

You might want to put a bit of foil tape on that one gas can or a aluminum deflector plate to keep the gas can from getting blasted with hot exhaust gas.

What kind of protection plate is this and what hardware is needed to install it?

Go to napa and you can buy the same type of nut that mountain tech uses on his aluminum skid plate. They are called a U-nut 6mm x 1.25 pitch, they slide over the hole where the riv nut would go and there is a spring like hook that holds the nut in place from falling off when you take the bolts...
