Check these out, no drill. I made my own from 5/8 lexan. The blue in the pic is gasket material as to not scratch the skid.
Simple install with the backing plate.
I think the ones in the link will fit the newer Sidewinders. If not I am sure they would machine one...
We are going to the Delta in Jonquiere quebec.
They are expecting 10-16" tomorrow and Wednesday. Then maybe 4-8" on Saturday.
Should be good to ride to the Mountain by Monday.

Dang, I just did my 2024, and both nuts under the rubber flaps were loose.
Skis were not toed right either.
Going to Canada on Sunday....hope they didn't forget anything else.
Just got my kit. Got on their chat and they emailed me directions, same as Mike posted. Thanks Mike.
Asked them how much grease....Reply:
"Attached are the instructions for the fix kit. You just need to use what is in the bag, just don't over grease it. "
My 2024 the vent line for the fuel tank was crimped in 2 places from the way it was routed.
Glad I found it.....
I had to replace it, it was like that for so long, the line was completely blocked off.
Or you could install this, then you never have to replace the o-ring.

Interesting, I just removed my stubshaft on my 2024, and it looks like they put Yamabond in 2 places before assembly.
One spot was actually hindering the seating of the assembly.
I don't remember that when I took my 2018 apart....(that one came out easy)
And it was a BEAR to get out.
Just finished mine on the new sled. Removed both hoses from the rollover valve, pulled wires and taped, plugged the back of the air box, installed 5/8" fuel hose.
I ran the end of the hose to the bottom chaincase drain area. Tis is what I had for 5 years on my 2018, and never a problem...
I also had a Trail Tank on my Nytro.
I installed a 1.8 gallon RotoPax in my soft tunnel bag. Made a simple bracket out of 1" x 1/4" aluminum flat stock. Attached it to the tunnel with 2 bolts and tapped the bar for the fuel bracket. I also have the saddle bags for overnight trips...
Went to RDL, on the Gaspe Peninsula, rode Sunday thru Tuesday. Trails were great, each day got thinner around town and hotel. Got 660 miles in 3 days.
I could not have done the trip without ice scratchers. Trails hard in the morning, then soft but thin over base.
We trailered to St. Raymond...
I am running stock winder with an Apex clutch.
I got my kit from Thunder products, spot on.
Big Venom Sidewinder Kit
