i would'nt give up the apex for any polaris even with more hp they certainly need it we like lake running and apex shines the weight don,t matter and trails in my area are groomed anyway yamaha keep makin the apex :yam:

we lined up today on hard packed snow 07 apex an 11apexse and a 2014 800 etec both my son and i could leave the etec in snow dust for a sled with 160hp and a lot lighter it runs out of steam pretty quick while the apex keeps pulling . :yam:

taking your transfer rod out will make the skid go back in a lot easier

i did'nt connect the hose on the left side,just the hose right beside it on the bottom of the box ,makes a little whistling sound other than that it's fine and the new lid fits the 07 box
