Probably been discussed many times, but wondering if any have compared the 1.35 cobra to the stock Rip 2. I have a new SRX coming and don't feel like the 1" track will be worth a $hit.... I have a Rip 2 1.25, but just wondering if the 1.35 Cobra might not be a better option.. I have buddies...
I have a 2022 Thundercat with the new ADAPT primary.. For those running a 270 tune, are you doing anything besides adding weight to the primary? Do I need to do anything with the secondary? Planning on going with the Hurricane bundle.. thanks in advance..
I currently have a 22 Mach Z and have an opportunity to get a new SRX with EPS. I really liked the Mach as far as trails go but we all know the limitations as far as power goes. I did put a Hurricane ECU on it and that dramatically improved performance but still not able to run with a 270 and...
I don't think Jamie is comparing the 850 to the SW..:dunno: He knows they are not as fast.. I believe he is just saying that it will be possible to run true speeds in the low to mid 120's with a tuned 900T.. Time will tell...:)
I am a Yamaha guy at heart also.. I have owned many up through the first Apex's.. I switched to Skidoo in 2008 and have had many 800 etecs, (3) 1200's, and an 850 in 2017.. When the Sidewinder came out in 2017, I wanted one all year,but drove the 850.. (LOVED IT). This year I rode a Sidewinder...
It has plenty of snap down low.. No problem cruising at slower speeds.. Boost isn't raised until a combination of 5000 rpm and 1/2 throttle.. When cruising at slow speeds, you are never at 1/2 throttle.
1859 miles on mine. Hurricane 240 tune in it since 464 miles.. I clutched for the tune and have never checked alignment.. Still on original belt and the sled is an overachiever.. Runs with most 270 hp tunes..
My apologies to the OP.. I am glad he is very happy with his sled. They are a very nice sled.. Just no need to bring in the competition on a post like that.. Like was said in an earlier post, EVERY brand has its own cheerleaders.........;)!
I think it is funny how you seem to take a shot at Doo every chance you get.. Truth is I had an 850 last year and am on a Sidewinder this year.. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Sidewinder, it does everything well like you said. For me, I had way more smiles on the 850 than I have...
I would take the 33/35 helix out.. It will over rev like crazy at the hit, if it is the race tune.. Probably will need something starting in the low 40's and ending in 35 to 37 range. I would guess in the starting range of 78 grams on the wts... Good luck !
this has probably been asked a hundred times, but is anybody running the Dalton QAY-70 wts on their stock Sidewinder? If so, are you running them empty, or do you have to load them with a little weight? Thanks in advance
