Im thinking to change my gearing , im running 21-38 maybe i should try 21-39 21-40 .. that clutch doesnt shift like the oem and it sucks ..not sure what to try now .. sled got rpm correct but it doesnt work like it was before with the oem clutch ...backshift is not good and upshift is worst too...
I try to get the difference bettween the oem and tapp clutch .. im not sure those too clutch could run the same angle ....any yammy guy here try the oem yam clutch vs the tapp clutch with the same roller secondary angle ?
Switch to the medium bolts with 3 washer in all 4 arm , no set screw and clicker at 1....went from 102 to 110 at 8250 on the same surface and same temp ...sounds like im on the good direction, im not sure if the 36 angle is a little to small for the tapp clutch for the final angle ...
You can add weight with the set screw or u can add weight on the bolts of the roller or put longer bolt with washer on the roller bolts ...i correct my rpm with the set screw maybe i should remove some set screw on the arm and add the weight on the roller bolts... all the weight is on the heel...
Just put the tapp clutch like they give me and add some weight to the toe to correct the rpm ...46-36 helix ...its on a 1100 turbo so the belt will not match the srx or sidewinder ...maybe i should take the weight from the toe and correct the rpm on the heel , im new to tapp clutch and im not...
Yes this is what i mean ....we try to figure out something now ...we put dome piston to raise the compression ...head have been port some and throttle body have been oversize ....motor seem to run good but we didnt gain any hp or torque ...motor went on a dyno and it pull like a stock engine...
