Off of a fuelie Venture I believe. Just made a bracket for the gauges, a backing plate for behind the dash panel, and a RAM mount. A side benefit is with this mount, you can angle the gauges out or up.

Was changing the oil today in the sled and that harness rub I read about was bugging me, so I tore into it. Of course, off comes the light assy, the frame it sits on, tear down the steering assy and remove the airbox. (Good opportunity to check everything out while I was at it, all looked good...

I got a light on my sled for the oil. Everything checked out, but I remember reading here there was a wire that was prone to chafe and give the ecu the oil light code. Can anyone hook me up on that? I can't seem to find it in a search....

Ram mounts are the balls. That's what I used to mount the Vector speedo on my Nytro. If I am doing a lot of standup, I give the speedo a tilt up so I can get a good look see at it, tilt it back down for cruising.

I was seeing 105-108 on the dream meter with the stock 1.25. With my 1.75 BC I have still seen 100-105, but I also added all the stuff in my sig at the same time. I went down 1 tooth on top as well....

Can you ride a 4 year warranty while the sled is in the shop? I'd be impressed with a machine that has a great record of reliability to go with the warranty. A turd with a warranty is still a turd. Just saying.

I agree that is "the advantage", but it is fast becoming the ONLY advantage. For a guy like me, who trades sleds with 5-7k on them, it is a very slim advantage.

And so as to not tick off the faithful, understand I have been Yamaha for 20 years, first with a VMAX. Never owned otherwise. Just saying maby the thing we are wanting to laugh at or call ugly just may be the next good thing. Open minds and all that... Cheers!
