    Mine does the same thing some days. I have found that after a no start scenario like yours I will charge the battery for a bit, after that it will fire up right away. I am assuming the voltage is just a little low to run something properly????

    Have you checked your fuel pressure? I have seen 2 sleds with the same symptoms and both had bad fuel pressure regulators that were stuck.

    My thought with Aluminum is that on a Nytro motor the spacing between the cylinders is very small and with aluminum it could melt fairly easily.
