Finally got a sled pre-order confirmation yesterday. In all that mess Friday I actually got 2 payments thru on a LTX GT. One in the 600 range and one in 2300 range for order of appearance. Should call and cancel the late 1 or the wife will boot me out.
Picked up Sidewinder Gt EPS April 28th. Same price dealer quoted last April and 1.9 financing even with rates going up. Received $500 Visa yesterday. No bag yet. My cousins dealer has 2 Sidewinder Gt EPS that guys backed out on. Tempting to buy another to mate the one I just picked up.

The back seat and saddle bags are extra. I was able to pick up the heated 2 up seat for 850 US from my Arctic Cat dealer. Like the storage trunk and extra gas tank. But still handles almost as good as my LTX 137 did.

Got a couple pics of the broken rod today when I dropped off the used motor. Mechanic said they are breaking rods in stock YXZs when they get shifted hard with the five speed transmission.
Yamaha Warranty denied the claim. Said 17s are not to be under boost. Found a 14 Arctic Cat motor with 0 miles a dealer picked up from Arctic Cat engineering. Headed over to pick it up next week. Alot less than rebuilding the original with GYTR rods.
It was a broken rod. Up near the piston. Took out both case halves and the oil pan. Waiting to hear from Yamaha on warranty. Just want to get the sled back to get some riding in. When I get pics I'll post. Been riding our 17 Sidewinder runs great but hate the overheating when you get...
Will be interesting what the failure was and what yamaha says. Still waiting to hear. I know it's not an MPI but is set up similar and Yamaha had been selling boost kits for 8 years now for this motor. Took it to a reputable turbo builder since I really don't want to go back to NA.
