I too have a '12. If it still has the stock torsion springs dump them and get '09 Nytros(I believe), the stock ones are way too stiff. I'm 190.... Made a big difference..
Drivers wear out mainly by miles. If your track was ratcheting you'd know in a hurry and tighten the track. You're not ratcheting. So track, and larger bogeys shouldn't have any affect on the drivers imo. Low snow and no scratchers is one of your main problens.
Sounds like you guys are running in very low snow conditions if one sled is heating up. My Apex has a cooling fan, front AND rear heat exchangers. I dont overheat where my buddies might.
All those things you mentioned will help the low snow condition. If you think about it, larger bogeys are...
Vibration and ratcheting are
2 different things. As the sliders wear down it creates a little extra gap to the clips, looser track, when you put new sliders on the gap is narrowed creating a tighter track. The track is way to tight. Loosen it up like I mentioned b4 and try it. What do you...
Your track is too tight. You should have that gap with no weight. Skip the weight method. Raise the rear and you should have at least 1.25" gap, if not more. You'll know if your track is too loose if it ratchets... You're not close to that happening...
Shuttering sounds to me the EPS may be kicking in and out. Snow conditions doesn't matter. Slow speed with excessive turning can heat up them motor, but the EPS is supposed to be less effective in that condition to keep from overheating.
Since you cleaned the connections make sure they seem...
