Year after Year I tune into the release. And year after year I am disappointed.
Yamaha needs a Rev kinda year like ‘03 was.
Something that will knock us off our a-s and say didn’t see that comming.
Has anyone heard this rumour or coincidence ?
That when Cat brings out a new clutch ,primary or secondary that the next year following their is a new chassis/platform that is released?
from what I’ve heard this has happened a few times.
but hell I’ve been waiting 8 years so far
So does...
Well I’ll throw my quarter peeny sense in here.
Didn’t Yamaha say they had a five year plan. When this all started ?
Ok by my books they missed it by one year
‘14 viper
‘15 viper mountain
‘16 viper something
‘17 Winder
‘18 sno scoot
‘19 SRX wanna be.
So could it be the year of 2020?
Who...
I love my 850. Sorry to say this sled out shines anything Yamaha had built so far. Power is awesome it’s light and nimble handles really well so far. Haven’t even set it up yet .
I traded my Nytro xtx Supercharged for the 850 and the Gade kills the Nytro in every way.
As for power Nytro...
All Yamaha has to do is make a commitment to bringing back the 2 stroke. Try and get CR back. And yes have a 4 stroke but also a 2 stroke. Like everyone else.
Forget about their marketing and research team. Get a few. Guys that bleed snowmobiling
4 and 2 stroke. And spend the next 2-3...
What would Yamaha be feasting on?
Blown chain cases and jackshafts or how about
Crack and splits tunnels.
No thanks. Get rid of them.
And go back to their roots and start fresh all over again. Clean sheet and crayons.
Well can’t believe I’m going to say this but maybe and I say maybe we could see a 1984 And 1997 all over again.
But until then. I’ll be riding my Gade X.
Excuses excuses that’s all you hear from Yamaha and from most. On TY.
Always have an excuse why. Yamaha is doing anything.
Yamaha wonders why there not selling sleds
Well
1 - they don’t listen to their customers ( the people who buy their products)
2- they are stupidly over priced I don’t...
Looks like you have your spring set the same as I do now mp5.
I’ll drop my rear blocks down to soft and see how that works.
Herndrop how do you like your mountain tech 43 + 2 front end?
Do you feel a difference?
I think MrSled is trying that set up this year too.
I’m running the Zbros 43 + 1...
WV you seem to be right.
I was originally going off what Robert said.
5.5 - 6” of ride hieght and he said adjust the cams to suit.
I just found email agAin and he said if your running Center shock spring fill tight almost
Then run your blocks on S soft.
I did notice tonight when sitting on...
I just have single spring but to my wieght. And have had. Both rear shocks rebuilt and revalved to my wieght also.
How do find your nytro steers and feels set that way Pete?
To clarify the fuse is accually green in color.
Now if you pull it out of holder and look at fuse itself. It should be clean. No green tarnish or anything like that.
Now you can try cleaning the terminals with a nail file or something you can use to get in there to clean terminals
And clean...
This may sound stupid but it does get slot of people. Make sure your battery cable ends are clean and making good contact.
Try replacing the starter solenoid (relay)(up beside battery) and take the big green maxi fuse out.( right beside starter solenoid (relay)
And make sure it’s not green.
If...
hey guys
Trying to set my ‘13 xtx rear skid up. Been reading the suspension section but finding it confusing.
Trying to making it easier to steering or lighter steering feel.
Me : 260 lbs
Front ski shocks
I have set to loose( slight rattle) as per what everyone seems to be going with...
Hey Fabio when you say sounds like hyped street bike is that with or with out the dB reducer?
I’ve had mine out a few times already. So just getting used of it again. I could just imagine what the kit would do to my sled.
Lakes are garbage rite now as most are wind blown and glare ice.
But...
The only way I can think to do that is your going to have to get the length from eye to eye compresssed and extended and then get the width of shock mounts on both ends and get the diameter of bolt hole used.
Then go to Fox or Elka or someone like that and try and match it up.
Now if memory...
If one side is working fine then it’s more then likely the element on the other side. You can buy as a kit ( 1 element, 1 grip with pop rivet)
There not cheap if memory serves me correctly.
I had to do that last year on my ‘13 Nytro with only 2000 km on it.
