Mine was popping out constantly when I first got it. Lengthened the horizontal rod by a couple turns and it works perfectly. I also thought the gears inside would be damaged but there was no sign of wear at all.

The thing I can't understand is why the base model SW is only $800 more than the base model Apex....Step up to the Apex SE and they are the same price. The Apex is overpriced IMO when compared to the SW.

^^^Yes I know what you mean....the tunnel acts like an amplifier to produce a resonance. Just another downside to that exhaust design. I notice it very faintly at low speed but it doesn't bother me.
