"THANKS" I took the ecu connector apart and one of the connector pins were pushed back and to the side. I straightened and line it up, plugged it back in. BAMM, what a difference. The sound of the engine is sweet, throttle response is instant. Now to put the PCV back and take it for a rip...
I had the connector off for the ecu when I plugged in the PCV. Could the issue be in this ecu connector plug, or would all cylinders not fire if they were a problem there?
That's what it seems like, no fuel. Is there any relays/fuse/sensors/ecm that could control one single cylinder. Do injectors randomly go. Its probably only a coincidence that the injector went the same time I installed this
kit. Would it show a code if the injector was gone? I have no codes on...
Ok here is what I done. While sled was running pulled off pto plug, engine shut down. Again when sled running pulled plug opposite side and engine shut down. With Sled running pulled center one and sled kept running as if nothing happened.
Next I started changing the coils and repeated the...
just looking at a graph for a nytro HP vrs RPM. MY rpm when tried was low 7000's so it makes about 110hp at that rpm. This at running 40o feet wot. Maybe ill try stock weights to see what will happen, is this a wise decision?
I did have the gas tank off to install kit, is it possible there is an air lock in the fuel line to middle cylinder somewhere. just another guess. I wont get to look at the sled no more till later this evening.
Thanks again. I will update with some trial and error reports later this evening
nope not yet, I trying to diagnose. I didn't drive it with center cylinder plug disconnected, only when it was plugged in. Not sure how it would run with center plug wire off, but when at idle there is no difference plugged in or not. The sled wont start with the center cylinder running combined...
You mean the sensor plug on the side just above the clutch on the outside of airbox. That plug is connected. Without it plugged in it gave an error code 20 or 30 something.
Could the airbox itself have a significant impact on a individual cylinder.
As for clutching never got to that part...
yes, Dave also been helping, responds quickly. I just figured a lot of people have this set up and could give some info on some of the issues and a possible fix.
Any other things to check, I also have no engine codes flashing. only when I disconnected spark plug. This a great site and appreciate the help, hoping to get this figured out.
I had a really hard time with the helix, I put it on then rotated it to the first set of ramps. it took all my strength. next ,I just checked plugs one by one. unplugged pto side wouldn't go. unplugged opposite side wouldn't go.
unplugged center it would idle the same with as if it were plugged...
I need some help. I just took the sled nytro xtx 2013 for its first ride since installing this performance kit. I don't know what is wrong. "full hindle, pc5, airbox mod, and clutch kit for this".
Sled feels really sluggash, no throttle response. barely hit 70mph. It could always hit mid 90's...
Anybody have any instructions/help on removing an airbox on nytro xtx. I got the hurricane hindle trail kit and need to get the airbox out for modification. thanks
