Worked on the Barn Bitch now for several seasons. New carbs, plugs, fuel pumps, new belt etc etc etc. Runs GREAT on stand up to 65+ MPH and 9K or so.. Backed out of barn, Tached up nice initially...then, "labored" running - but not like a missing cylinder??? Error light - red or orange don't...

If I HAD forgotten a spacer behind the secondary- How many should there be # of spacers or total shim width? Can I match it up with 2010's float - like measure between the sheave & the bulkhead? -pushed in & then pulled out? compare them both? If REALLY need be... I could take off the 10's...

idle at 1350 Primary spring does not appear broken? brake NOT on checked twice. Sled on the stand. Seemed like clutch engaged properly around 4000. Track turned "easily" I haven't tried to turn the secondary by hand - should turn VERY easily with sled off the ground.... eh?

Any idea what caused it....????

Well, well, well....hoodathunk bad gas was the culprit...?? Thanks to all you guys we found it....annnnd a BIG dif with the airbox closed & sealed. As it was running on the stand with a couple good revs.... "thought" I smelled belt ...butHEY it was running and rather GREAT.Well ruined belt on...

Fresh gas tomorrow Non Ethyl and maybe a couple of shots of carb cleaner down its throat. Snowwww.... this weekend....?? We usually get shafted though

IDK I just did them last season & use non ethanol gas ONLY. Last ran it in June - AOK then... We didin't ride last year at all here.....nosnow.It just takes (me) HOURS to get off & apart & back on.....??

Those carbs are a BIG PITA. If I can't get it to run with carb cleaner....I'm gonna sell the damn thing !

So...FINALLY able to work on the bell crank shaft.The flat on the shaft is 11mm. The nuts 14.The nuts are one LH and one RH. Soooo.. got the bell crank side nut loose...the wrench moved toward the front of the sled (up) to loosen (LH or RH I dunno) ...so then the "other" end of the shaft, the...

Took the seat off 1/2way then decided that it would be too hard? Finished it up ez ,PZ, got one side of the shaft loose the other one is soaking in Sili-Kroil. Wish me luck. Tx for the advise...it was rather easy...

Well....I've always been one to learn something new, so I'll do the seat thing today, else it'll be stuck in my craw forEVER ! Thanks for the advise on the filters - changed them - and the pumps and the carbs and the plugs ...wouldn't run off idle - turns out carb boots were all leaky - changed...
