Does anyone have an optimum Big Venon clutch weight setup that has worked best overall, trail riding and top end. 16-LTx with MBRP Trail Can, 911 Cover, 8DN Belt setup, 96 studs, can seem to get any better than 93mph on the top end
Check out Harbor Freight if they ship to you, they have a air riveter for 40.00, bought one years ago and replaced 2 Polaris belly pans and worked great.
Bar and ski alignment easier than it may seem. Watch Biker Mikes YouTube video and you will see how easy it is. Straight bars properly toed out skis = a better handling sled. Take the time and fix them you’ll be much happier driving straight and tracking straight.
Ok what is the general overall view on the latest flash, my 2016 will start 99% of the time on first try after letting fuel pump cycle, that’s how I have started it from day 1. Should I get the flash done?
I have the squeaky gate on the right side which I thought was the links also, turned out to be upper a-arm front bushing. Tried the Fluid Film and helps but doesn’t solve it for long. I get a lots of laughs when I pull out the can when we stop to take in the scenery while riding. Bought new...
I had a faulty rear QS3 right out of the box, year 1 had checked and no problem found. Year 2 pulled shocks and sent to Cannondale for rebuilds. Rear skid rebounds as designed now that the shock was rebuilt.
You can get screen protectors anywhere, have to use the flexible type that you can cut not the glass type. I think I went on eBay and got older iPhone 5 protector.
Make sure to try and get some lube in the upper control arm bushings also. I was able to pin point my rusty gate squeak just by pulling on the bars to rock the front end, upper control arm on right side.
XPT w/6” studboys for my LTX and really liked them. Steering effort feels exactly the same as the T3’s going to take a turn out of the front spring for just a bit more ski pressure. Great change.
I did 96 down the middle on 137 and has good traction. Studs should come with install directions and lock nuts so no need for loctite. I think they torque to 15lbs. Check the woodys site instruction on there also.
You should have 6 screws holding hood on, looks like your missing the 2 near the shocks. Also, I believe in 16 they stopped using the knob for the left side panel and never did both sides prior to 16.
