I have nearly 10,000 miles on Curve XS ski's.
6,000 plus miles riding Curves on my 05 RS Venture.
I haven't found a better ski.
They are a perfect match for the RS Venture. Very predictable in the corners with zero push.
Here is a link.

They are also an...
To be exact it was Dec 2007 at 22,127 miles.
I had the entire sled looked at in preparation for the Guinness run which started at 22,605 miles.
During that maintenance period, the oil tank was replaced due to an oil leak, and had the valve check performed (3 exhaust valves were tight and...
Thanks Yamadoo... for the acknowledement along with all the others...
I'm flattered guy's to to be thought of as a legendary old fat crazy man, that is retarded and rides all day... ;)!
Yeah, throw Yamadoo in that briar patch!!! ;)!
Yamadoo, you know the rest of the story. I...
Well spent change Yamadoo!
Superb editorial observation. ;)!
There certainly are many ways to make handling better.
As always, you've found the right word.
The key word here is "technology".
Over the years Curve Industries has done their due diligence and homework (pun...
Hi Guy's,
Sounds like I would have had a great time in Toronto. My wife also has relatives in the Toronto area as well.
Unfortunately, I needed to stay home and complete a few projects before the snow starts to fly up here. It won't be long.
It's very cool to go to shows and hang out...
Thanks Curry,
It's a bit far out to plan however, I'll take a closer look at the routes near your location.
How many people can you handle on an overnight stay?
I'll PM you when I get a chance. ;)!
I've been running 6" shaper bars and have found them a bit on the aggressive side for the RS Venture GT.
I have a set of 4" and 6" Magnum's which are more rounded bar stock than shapers. I'm going to play around with these sets to determine what fits best on the newer RS Venture in...
Thanks Scott,... and you are welcome,
I met Mark Savage at Hay Days last year when he did the AmSnow article on the Guinness Run.
He's a great guy with a passion for snowmobiling.
I invited him up to "The County" and he took me up on the invitation. He was absolutely amazed at the...
Justinator,
Right now I have just under 10,000 miles on Curve XS skis.
From Fort Kent we live approximately 14 miles from each other.
Hopefully some time this winter, we can meet over at my place for a test and tune session. BTV and anyone else in the area is also invited.
I have...
Harder to steer.
Shims will help.
What I have experienced is that the front end is light just a tad with the OEM skis. If you are going to keep the OEM skis, I would loosen the center shock spring two turns and then put a stud boy shaper bars or dualies on the skis. Loosing the center...
Hello Sean,
Good point! Curve Industries products are not just for Yam's. No prejudice around the Curves camp.
Kind of reminds me of the old BASF commercial. "Curve Industries doesn't make snowmobiles...They make them better."
I know I would have had a superb time with the both of...
The "Leading Edge" as described in this "youtube" video below.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z321CliM ... re=related
The "Leading Edge" was designed to "smooth out the trail" and prevent darting on rock hard snow conditions. ;)!
Re: Curve closes another deal.. AND releases another new pro
Now that's funny right there...an excellent recap of what occured at Epping. Superb fellowship with a bunch of guys that truly have a passion for the sport.
It was great to meet you all as well. Very funny stuff....You...
The "leading edge" is designed for extreme hard pack rock hard conditions when the carbide and runner is the only thing working.
The "leading edge" prepares the surface ahead of the runner and carbides, so the runner doesn't fall into an already existing groove in a rock hard snow and ice...
