New Ecu flash for Yamaha Viper/Arctic cats 7000 w/POLL

Yamaha has always ran their sleds on the rich side. They prefer reliable to all out power. Wouldn't worry about it.

    2018 Viper Starting Issues Already???

Also just make sure your battery cables are clean and tight. Any voltage drop off causes weird starting issues in almost any engine. Corrosion builds up quick. Easy to check.

    Clutch kit

I ran one all last year, only other mod is air box. Great kit. Pulls hard. I've also seen it ran on a turbo set up. Haven't heard any complaints. I ride flat land so I wouldn't say it's strictly for the mountains.

    In line coolant heater

As with any engine, it is more important to warm the oil than the coolant. Heat pads are a good idea. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

    2018 Yamaha Release

Maybe Yamaha has a new chassis with a ton of goodies but it just wasn't ready. Yamaha maybe didn't want to release a new model that didn't have the majority of the bugs worked out... I am just spit balling Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

    Rough running viper

I believe there was a similar thread on this... Breather give for the gas tank runs under the engine and seems to suck up snow dust and water from the belly pan area into the gas tank. I'd check that out... Likely water build up in your tank Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

Serious electrical issue with headlights!!! Help!

Well if the grounds are good... I would splice in new connectors and install new bulbs. It's possible the bulb itself shorted and melted the connector. Just make sure with an ohm meter that your circuit is good ground side and power side. Each wire end to end. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

Serious electrical issue with headlights!!! Help!

Should have under 2 ohms resistance to ground. Less the better. Not sure how the circuit is run but I would start there. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

Serious electrical issue with headlights!!! Help!

Check the grounds for the headlights... A corroded or lower grind will cause the circuit to heat up and melt the connector. Common issue on cars. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

    Flash Update Coming Fall-2016

Got my 15 XTX back. Was about - 20c last night unloading the sled. Let the fuel pump cycle, cracked a little longer than usual but fired and ran first time. Seems to idle slightly better also. Less hunting. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

    Flash Update Coming Fall-2016

Got the call yesterday to bring my sled in for the new flash. I didn't get a chance to do a pre flash run, but I've never had starter issues. I'll post what I notice when I get it back today or tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

129" vs 137" upper bogie size differences

The 129 users 7.5in kit. If he got 8.5in then they are to big and would cause the track to be to tight. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk
