    Bulkhead Failure

The impact was enough to require the replacement of your a-arms. That's big. It created internal stress risers. I don't think it is fair to dismiss the impact as a cause and to therefore conclude that the design is flawed.

    Bulkhead Failure

Occam's Razor says that the simplest explanation is typically the correct explanation. The Bulkhead was damaged from the impact that happened on the right side as was disclosed after this thread got some momentum.

    Bulkhead Failure

From the photos, its clear that no other damage is present. As you mentioned, nothing else is bent. It leads me to think you may be bottoming your suspension too often. On rare occasion it is ok, as this confirms the right suspension settings. When the shock stops absorbing the impact...

    Bulkhead Failure

Wow, that is not a welcomed sight. I just checked the AC forum and cannot find any cases of this happening there. I did see a post from a guy who went 25,000 miles on a procross chassis with no chassis issues at all. He did experience exhaust valve recession and reverse actuator failure...

    Evo 2.5??? Worth it??

Sorry, I did not answer your question. You will want to tune for more rpm, better starting, optimal fueling/timing, etc.

    Evo 2.5??? Worth it??

I have a PCV and Ignition Module, these together cost about the same as a tune, but you are able to continue to adjust without additional spending.

    Powder power

I have my airbox opened up with an SLP muffler, and have a PCV and ignition module, set to raise my limiter to 9800. I have a stock clutch set up, but have removed the tip rivet to achieve more shift out rpm once up and out of the hole. This works great for my set up; it has a 9200 shift...

    Ripped Limiter Strap

Looks like simple wear, the straps rubbing against the moving track above them. Apparently, there must be a lot of sag in the rear suspension and the straps are let out all the way, so that the slack in the straps is bunched up on top and hitting the internal track lugs.

    Belt Issue - Feeback Needed

That look suspiciously like a ride away with the parking break engaged.

Having issues with new to me 2014 viper. Doesnt have much power.

Last year in March, last ride of the season, I hit 94 mph on my Viper on the main trail heading out of Kingston Plains toward Grand Marais. It was about 50 degrees F with an inch of slush on the surface. My sled has a modded air box, slp muffler, pcv with ign module, programmed with a 9800...

Having issues with new to me 2014 viper. Doesnt have much power.

I am always suspect of clutch changes to essentially stock machines. The cold air intake will not net you enough of a change to warrant a change in clutch calibration. Sounds like you are shifting out way too soon and lugging the engine. The Viper motor makes good torque, but 7200 is way...

    2015 Viper Fan

Hello, My fan quit working this weekend after getting wet from the wash I gave the sled (engine was running while I rinsed). I checked the fan fuse and it was indeed blown, but after replacing it, the fan refused to kick on while I let the running temp reach 220 F. Is there another fuse, like...

    Sell me on a Viper

"My 800 Rush gets 2 MPGs better than my Viper. I never burn premium fuel (I run it on the ethenol setting). I got 2400 trouble free miles on it last winter and compression is still great. Just lucky I guess." Just gotta love internet BS,,,,,never ends :-)

    Sell me on a Viper

The Axis 800 will out perform the Viper in all ways. The 2S will use more fuel (and oil) and needs premium, but for me, those are small prices to pay for superior performance. What stopped me from buying the Polaris was the need to rebuild every 1500 miles. The short rod 800 loads the...

Better Understanding of Todays Track Lengths

Do the exercise that I recommended first, before you continue down your path. (Sketch the track on paper and observe the physical state). Think of it this way; how much of a tire is actually in contact with the ground? Not much because it is almost a perfect circle, only the flatness created...
