I know that there is a problem with sealing these items. Was wondering if a neoprene type gasket could be designed to replace the sealant currently used. If possible it could be reusable. Could solve the leak issue.

Yesterday when I was out the sled started bottoming easily and got very twitchy handling. When I got home and cleaned the sled I saw the rear shock is broken. The lower eyelet split open and the track nubs on the inside rows are chewed off. Anyone have any ideas on this?
