I have a SM bundle and love it. Recently upgraded to the Max Spool 16, sled rips. Definitely can notice the difference between Powertrail and Max 16. Haven't had to change my clutch setup yet since switching to it but only have about 120 miles on it.
This is cool to see, in the final process of putting a Link Fury on one our sleds. Going to be a radar run sled in Stock Turbo Improved stock. Excited to be able to have full control over fuel, timing, and boost amounts. :4STroke:
I would have as well but after a weekend full of trail riding and racing Every chance we could, those were the results..
Both sleds run very strong, won’t be disappointed either way.
TD tunes spool quicker however Hurricanes seem to have more big end power. Running on "same HP" tune, I will jump out on my dads Hurricane Tuned sled till about 80-90 MPH then he will slowly go by me. Both sleds are LTX-SE, same amount of studs and same track, both have similar clutching setups...
My LTX sidewinder in front and my LTX dads in the rear at the Forest Lake NSSR Speed Runs. His has just about everything Hurricane offers went 124 mph in 1000'. Mine was bone stock at the time minus some clutching and went 108.
First trail ride coming out of Houghton in early January. Trails...
Not a problem. I haven’t gotten to trail ride it yet, just tested it on the lake with some buddies. Secondary was definitely warmer to the touch compared to stock, 1000’ pulls..
I have an LTX, stock tune, 192 studs, 4th wheel kit, with stock primary weights but TP orange secondary spring, 33/35 helix. I raced another LTX, same track set up, I would pull 4-5 sled length from the bottom to middle and slowly pull away from him. I weighed 15-20 lbs less than the other...
We ran two LTX's 137" in the fun run side, one sled has about every thing hurricane offers and went 124 mph, stock ride height, 192 gold diggers, STM primary and secondary, running on the 325 tune.
Other sled was a bone stock LTX, TP orange secondary spring wrapped at 1-3 with a 33/35 helix...
We were out testing this weekend on the lake with 2 sidewinders. One stocker and one with a ton of hurricane stuff on it, intake temperatures were the exact same as machzrobbies on the hurricane tuned sled.. I personally don't like having an intake temp of 136 degrees so will be trying some...
This is awesome! You're not very far from me (20 minutes), would love to come over with a sidewinder and some other yamaha's if we ever get some snow..
Did you guys see this? I hope the link works, D&D's sidewinder at the Old Forge shootout. I believe it was on there 270 hp tune.. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Ffrank.harden.12%2Fvideos%2F1251036988304872%2F&width=500" width="500"...
