Do you feel like you get "push" in the corners studding outside? I studded outside on my 137" winder 2 years ago but bought a 129" at the end of last season. I've always studded outside but am thinking about inside only. Any insite is appreciated
I was lucky enough to find a 50th anniversary someone didn't pick up, definitely go for the upgraded shocks. I prefer the 129" way over my 137". I saw no difference in ride quality, but the feel of the sled and the difference in transfer of the 129" are way superior to the 137" in my opinion!
Well I gave customer service the part number and they looked it up and told what I already knew ... backordered till late February "now" ..so I know they have acces to some form of parts knowledge..I guess I could look past that ,but how come when my dealer called the tech line they didn't give...
Thanks for the tip.. New fork with shoes included should be in Saturday... But my question is why didn't anyone at Yamaha explain this to me as an option.. Not even customer service as I was being RUDELY BS'ed for 45 minutes
They won't mines been in the shop since Jan 9th waiting on chaincase parts... Yamaha customer service line is a joke.. Don't call and frustrate yourself further
Tomorrow marks 3 weeks waiting for a shoe that goes on the shifting fork in my chaincase.. Yamaha says its back ordered till 2/19... Same deal with Yamaha customer service... No help extremely rude when I expressed my displeasure with having to wait this long in a short season for a part for a...
Good call, I've been on the phone with every cat and Yamaha dealer within 3 hrs of me. It seems there may be 2 in Maine, a handful in Minnesota, and some in Canada, gonna try hudons salvage also.
All I can say is I've taken it to the dealer for all my services. They told me it was the seal so who am I to question? All I know is I won't be riding again this Friday-Sunday with my family , rain Monday and Tuesday
Sealant or seal failed on the case and all fluid leaked out.. Everything burnt up.. Very odd because I never saw any signs of oil on trailer or garage floor?
so not only did my chain case destroy itself, I now found out that some shoe that goes on a fork in the case is back ordered till February 16... Thanks Yamaha for ruining my season.. Probably coulda got a new 850 motor quicker than that !!! Has anyone else had these long delays for a part?
Very frustrating worst part is I have nothing to trade in on something new right now because it's getting fixed... it's a fun sled but this one doesn't perform like all the ones people post about on here, and now with this problem after 1450 miles it's gonna be hard not to jump ship..??
Coming across a field not very fast and all of a sudden a weird noise... Thought it was a belt blowing but never quite heard it like this before, pull cover belt is fine, start back up and try to move but all I hear is grinding. Try reverse and it moves fine, try forward again and nothing but...
1400 miles with no belt issues at all.. Always on the throttle hard at every chance.. Took her up to 80 mph three up with my two kids on lake today ... They wanted more, but there mother would kill me if she finds out.. Sure does hook up with the extra weight, that part made me nervous but belt...
