My Apex has a tall (not sure if tall or medium) windshield. It's got a couple stabilizer bars that go from the shroud to the windshield. One of them had the screw on the windshield end break off inside the stabilizer. As I was trying to get it out, the grommet/nut in the end of the stabilizer...

So I got a new cover for my Apex MTX this winter. I lost the straps/hooks that hook the cover to the sled. Any ideas on where I could get replacements for those?

I know the battery reset isn't my issue. Mine was doing it this fall. Then I realized my battery was weak, so I changed that out. No change to the thumb warmer.

I did not try to unplug it. I didn't realize you could do that. Is there a pic of that connection or diagram any where?

That's correct. The throttle cable is getting stretched with the aftermarket riser. I'll look for an OEM 6" riser. Not finding one on Barn of Parts or FleaBay. I'll keep looking. Any suggestions?

So I got my sled back today. It was the air bubbles or being a little low on the coolant that was sending an overheat code. I should have limped it along a little more, and I think I would have saved a bunch of dough. Oh well...peace of mind. Thanks for all the input. Very helpful in the process.

Thanks for all the input. I'm hoping this is the ticket and I don't have anything big. I did take it to a shop this morning. I don't have the pressure tester to do the bleed properly. Hoping it's an easy in and out. Will post an update.

So far it has not come back on. But again, it was just a 10 minute ride because of the cold and my lack of warm clothes. Do you open that screw while it's running to bleed the cooling system?

The temperature light did come on. That's what made me check the coolant. Once I topped off the coolant, it seems good on that light. But then the yellow light and engine icon were blinking and the motor surged on its own. Then that went away. I'm confused. What does a dude need to do to bleed...
