I've put 1800 miles on my XRS with SS suspension , so far no problems with it . I got sled park outside cabin with skid packed with ice snow so much that I have problem lifting it for clean up next morning . I would have no problem with ordering a new sled again with SS .
I had Yamaheater mod for thumb warmer and it worked very good, on hi settings I was getting almost burnt after while. Before mod in temperature below 20f thumb warmer wasn’t enough even with hand guards on sled.
Yes I agree with you, however I ride with a couple of Doo’s in same conditions , same mileage and none of them looks like like mine. I’ve had my sled apart off season and skid repainted . So in my opinion fit and finish and Doo compared to Pro cross chassis in way better, probably best in industry.
I had about 200 miles on plugs when mine did same thing… I’ve changed plugs and it runs normally. Although my sled is tuned and I’m running Torco octane booster, maybe that contributed to short life span of spark plugs, I’m changing them every year regardless mileage.
I’ve been using theirs tunes/ map tuner for 10 years on jet skis, sea doo’s and Yamaha’s . Solid tunes and pretty easy to use flasher. They started doing 998 sleds like 3 years ago . I could use map tuner on my sled but I choose Hurricane for my tuner.

I ride in Up State Ny , so conditions are not not always perfect and yes some trails are running very close to plowed roads with salt on them, not mention that there is a lot off crossings . But only my Yama / Cat looks like that in our group.

I got a couple quotes from Two dealers, Winder Ltx Le $19350 otd, standard T-Cat $16400 . My riding buddy want a new Renegade and he got $18200 for yellow 900t with only color gage as a add on . I I was shopping for new 998 t it would be a T-cat for price difference.
