These guys make the best studs (no Rust) and the poly backers hold up great..... 24,000 miles in lower Michigan on my apex. Replaced the track at 15,000mi and took the like new studs and backers out and put them in the new track!!! Full disclosure: The studs are now starting to look like...

My 2011 has 21,500 miles I hope to turn 25,000 this season. Pic from when I turned 20,000 last season....

Had it on my 06...rear shock only. The cat site says it controls front and rear at the same time. 3 settings soft medium firm...like the QS-3

It looks like it has outside wheels in the back axle also...A move away from the single tri-hub?

Could it be a factory "tuned" sidewinder special edition. We all know how much power is in that mill.

Torque spec is 25Nm or 18 ft/lb for the manifold (flex pipe) and 18Nm or 13ft/lb for the clamp bolt...If the gasket looks good, reuse it.....but put in new clamp bolts as the stretch from heat cycling and reusing them can make the clamp come loose and cause the same problems as bad donuts ...

X2.... I have used the recon gloves for 2 years, great glove and very warm with the electric heat on the back of the hand. Works great especially when you stop and the bars cool down.

I prefer the 3-3-3 as I think it is more balanced and puts the same force on each lug. Just my 2 cents....

Belts, carbides, oil, filter and slides when needed. I put a new Stator and battery in at 15,000. New track at 12,000 because of a tear (reused the studs though) and I put in new chain case bearings, chain and gears in then...they still looked ok but I had it all apart for the track so I did...

Turned 19,000 miles Last week on my 2011 apex.

Check the connections at the wire bundle in nose of the sled to the power steering module. Mine was coming loose and I had to zip tie them together. Works all the time now.

Check the all plugs to the power steering controller in the nose area. Could be unplugged. I needed to zip tie mine as it kept coming unplugged

I power wash the skis and trackers to remove any sand between and spray paint them to keep them from rusting. If the "wings" are bent bad I would take them off and make them straight in a vise then paint. If the carbide runner is gone you can buy only the center section and replace.

Just in caes you did not know....There is a tool that comes in the tool kit that has a gauge on it. min and max are not all the way in or all the way out on the treads.

I believe every year apex stock will have Titanium pipes..... the stainless one are accessory Yamaha OEM as a replacement for the more expensive Ti. They did not come stock. Hope this helps

These are really nice jackets and they may save your life if you go into the water with the F.A.S.T insulation. Video on the F.A.S.T ....

Just saying ...IF you use Yamalube as your oil of choice... you can sign up for the warranty. It cant hurt....just my 2cents
